When did the OPPO Watch X2 launch, and where is it available?
OPPO unveiled the Watch X2 in Singapore on February 20, 2025, alongside the global launch of the Find N5. The company said the watch would reach additional markets and that pricing and availability would vary by region. The announcement does not establish a universal retail price or confirm official U.S. availability.
That distinction matters because the product name covers regional editions with different software. A listing that says “Watch X2” is not enough to establish that it is the global Wear OS model.

OPPO Watch X2 price by market
| Market | Price reported or listed | What the figure means |
|---|---|---|
| China | ¥1,999 | Displayed price on the Chinese OPPO store page; that page also shows ¥2,699 as a reference/former price. Prices and offers can change. |
| Singapore | SGD499 | Reported as the initial launch price by Gadgets 360; the report does not establish whether it was a standard retail price or a preorder/listing price. |
| United Kingdom and other global markets | No universal price stated | OPPO’s global announcement says regional pricing and availability vary. |
| United States | Unconfirmed | No U.S.-specific official price or retail availability is established by the cited OPPO materials. |
Do not convert a China or Singapore figure into a supposed global MSRP. Check the local OPPO store or an authorized seller for the edition, current price, and warranty terms available in your country.
Design, materials, and display
The Watch X2 has a round, 46mm-class form with a stainless-steel case, titanium-alloy bezel, and sapphire-crystal cover. OPPO lists dimensions of approximately 46.6 × 47.6 × 11.75mm, with exclusions applying to specified sensor or lug areas, and a body weight of about 49.7g without the strap. Its size may feel substantial on smaller wrists.
Global colors include Lava Black and Summit Blue. OPPO identifies fluorine rubber for the Lava Black strap and leather for Summit Blue; the Chinese store also lists Damo Silver Moon. Color and strap options depend on market.
The 1.5-inch LTPO display has a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and a density of 310 ppi. OPPO distinguishes several brightness levels: 600 nits maximum in the default mode, 1,000 nits in high-brightness mode, and up to 2,200 nits peak with operating-mode limitations noted on its specifications page. The 2,200-nit figure is not the ordinary default brightness. LTPO can lower the refresh rate to 1Hz, which can help reduce display power use.

Performance and regional software
The global model pairs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 wearable platform with a BES2800BP companion MCU. OPPO describes a dual-engine design that combines Wear OS with a real-time operating system. That architecture is intended to balance smartwatch functions and power use; it does not make the global and Chinese software editions interchangeable.
Global model: Wear OS 5
OPPO’s UK specifications identify Wear OS by Google, with Google Play, Google Maps, Google Wallet, Google Assistant, and Google Health Connect listed among its services. The same page requires Android 9 or later with the specified Google Mobile Services version and says iOS is not supported. Google Wallet and other services still depend on country, device, and service availability.
Chinese model: ColorOS Watch 7.0
The Chinese OPPO store lists ColorOS Watch 7.0 and Android 10 or later and iOS 14 or later as device requirements. That listing also identifies eSIM connectivity. Those statements describe the Chinese-market model; they should not be used to assume iPhone support, Google services, or identical cellular behavior on a global or imported watch.
Battery life and charging
The battery is rated at 631mAh, with a typical capacity of 648mAh. OPPO’s UK specifications give these maximum estimates:

| Mode or charge estimate | OPPO’s stated figure | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Smart Mode, standard use | Up to 120 hours (five days) | OPPO’s standard-use estimate, not a guarantee for every user. |
| Smart Mode, heavy use | Up to 72 hours | The heavy-use estimate is shorter than the headline five-day figure. |
| Power Saver Mode | Up to 16 days | A reduced-function mode, not equivalent to full Wear OS use. |
| Watch VOOC Flash Charge | About one day of use from 10 minutes; charging listed as up to 80 minutes | Use time varies with settings and activity. |
Actual endurance will depend on always-on display settings, health monitoring, calls, GPS and Wi-Fi use, music, workout time, and watch faces. OPPO’s figures are mode-specific estimates, not a promise of five days during intensive GPS or app use.

OPPO lists optical heart-rate monitoring, blood-oxygen (SpO2) tracking, wrist-temperature sensing, HRV and stress-related wellness information, sleep tracking, and a 60-second health check-in combining measures such as heart rate, blood oxygen, and wrist temperature. Sleep functions include respiratory-rate and snoring-risk features. These are wellness tools, not diagnoses.
ECG and vascular features
The watch includes a single-lead ECG electrode and an arterial-stiffness or vascular-health assessment. OPPO says ECG Analyzer availability varies by country and regulatory approval. Treat results as screening-style or wellness information where available, not as a diagnosis of heart disease, hypertension, sleep apnea, or another condition. OPPO says health and sleep features are not substitutes for professional medical advice.
Sports, GPS, and durability
OPPO advertises more than 100 sports modes and automatic recognition for running, walking, cycling, swimming, rowing machine, and elliptical workouts. It lists professional metrics for 11 sports, including running, tennis, badminton, swimming, cycling, skiing, rowing, walking, climbing, elliptical, and rope skipping.

Dual-frequency GPS uses L1 and L5 bands. The watch carries IP68 and 5ATM water-resistance ratings and MIL-STD-810H durability certification. These ratings are not a claim that it is indestructible or suitable for every water activity; consult OPPO’s regional safety and warranty guidance before diving, exposure to high-pressure water, sauna use, or extreme conditions.
Connectivity and smart features
Global specifications and OPPO’s launch information include Bluetooth calling, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, NFC, notifications, messages, music controls, alarms, timers, weather, compass, flashlight, and related utilities. Google Maps, Google Play, Google Assistant, and Google Wallet are features of the global Wear OS edition, subject to local service availability. eSIM appears in the Chinese product listing; do not assume a particular carrier, band, or cellular plan will work without checking the exact regional model and carrier support.
OPPO also describes camera remote control and short-video controls, with a limitation: those functions support OPPO and OnePlus phones running recent ColorOS or OxygenOS versions and were not yet available for other brands according to the launch announcement.
What to check before importing one
An import can be a poor substitute for a locally supported global model if it arrives with different software, payment services, cellular support, or warranty coverage. Before ordering, confirm each point with the seller and the manufacturer’s local guidance:
Recommended Free Tools
- The exact model number and regional firmware, including whether the watch runs Wear OS or ColorOS Watch.
- Phone compatibility for that exact edition, including the stated Android, iOS, and Google Mobile Services requirements.
- Whether Google Play, Maps, Wallet, and Assistant are available and usable in your country on that version.
- eSIM bands and carrier support if cellular service matters.
- Local warranty coverage, return terms, customs charges, and taxes.
- Language support and whether ECG or other regulated health functions are enabled in your region.
- Whether the seller is an authorized OPPO channel.
Should you buy the OPPO Watch X2?
The Watch X2 is most compelling for an Android user who wants premium materials, broad sports tracking, dual-frequency GPS, and a Wear OS watch with OPPO’s claimed multi-day battery life. It is especially worth considering for OPPO and OnePlus phone owners who can use the brand-specific phone controls.
It is a poor fit if you use an iPhone and are considering the global version, need confirmed official U.S. support, or do not want to verify import details. For a related Wear OS option, investigate the OnePlus Watch 3; it is an alternative, not an identical product. Samsung phone owners can compare the Samsung Galaxy Watch range, while iPhone users should consider the Apple Watch. Check each manufacturer’s current regional compatibility and availability before choosing.
