What the RingConn Gen 2 offers
RingConn’s current U.S. product listing gives the Gen 2 a price of $299. The page does not show a publication date, so treat that as the manufacturer’s listed price, not a guarantee of today’s checkout price or availability.
The ring is made of titanium, weighs 2–3 g, and is about 2 mm thick. RingConn lists IP68 water resistance and compatibility with iOS and Android. Its sensors include PPG, a temperature sensor, and a three-axis accelerometer. The listed measurements and features include heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO₂), heart-rate variability (HRV), skin temperature, respiratory rate, steps, calories, workouts, stress, sleep, and menstrual management.
Those specifications make it a compact wellness tracker, not a watch replacement: its appeal is continuous wear and health-related tracking rather than a wrist display or on-device notifications.

Does RingConn Gen 2 detect sleep apnea?
RingConn says the Gen 2 monitors for sleep-apnea indicators by taking frequent SpO₂ readings during sleep and counting oxygen drops of at least 3%. The company’s feature page publishes a 90.7% sleep-apnea-monitoring accuracy figure. That is a RingConn claim; the sources available for this review do not establish an independent clinical validation protocol or diagnostic regulatory clearance.
Use the feature as wellness information, not as a diagnosis or a substitute for medical evaluation. If you have symptoms or concerns about sleep apnea, discuss them with a healthcare professional rather than relying on a ring’s reading.

RingConn also publishes accuracy claims of more than 98% for heart rate, more than 95% for step counting, and more than 99% for sleep time. These, too, are vendor-published figures, not independently established results in the sources available here.
How long does the battery last, and how does charging work?
RingConn rates the Gen 2 battery at 10–12 days per charge. The company says the included charging case can extend total use by up to 150 days; that is a manufacturer claim about the case’s added capacity, not the ring’s runtime on one charge. Actual time between charges can vary with use.

What size RingConn Gen 2 should you get?
Do not assume your usual ring size will fit: RingConn warns that its sizing differs from standard rings and recommends using its free sizing kit. Fit matters both for day-to-day comfort and for keeping the sensors positioned against your finger.
- Use RingConn’s sizing kit. Choose the sizing-kit option rather than guessing from a standard jewelry size.
- Try the intended finger. RingConn recommends the index finger, citing stronger arterial blood flow, and says the middle or ring finger can also be used.
- Check comfort before choosing. Wear the sample ring long enough to judge the fit during ordinary movement and sleep, then select the corresponding Gen 2 size.
RingConn Gen 2 vs Gen 2 Air
The Air is the more basic, lower-cost option in RingConn’s comparison: it uses stainless steel, is rated for up to 10 days of battery life, and does not include sleep-apnea monitoring. Tom’s Guide described it as a $199 subscription-free option in an August 9, 2025 review; that dated report should not be taken as a current price. RingConn’s live comparison page does not establish a current Air price in the information available for this review.

Choose the Gen 2 if titanium, its longer stated battery range, or sleep-apnea monitoring matters to you. The Air is worth considering if the lower price reported in 2025 remains available and you do not need that monitoring feature.
RingConn Gen 2 vs Oura
The available product information here is not enough for a reliable, current specification-and-price comparison with Oura, so it cannot support a blanket claim that one ring is better. Compare the current models on total cost over time, sleep and health features, battery and charging, phone compatibility, and sizing.
