What the 126710BLNR is
Rolex’s documented reference is 126710BLNR, also shown in its technical brochure as M126710BLNR-0002. It is a 40 mm Oystersteel GMT-Master II with a black dial and a bidirectional 24-hour bezel fitted with a two-colour blue-and-black Cerachrom ceramic insert. Enthusiasts often call the black-and-blue version “Batman.” “Batgirl” is commonly applied to a Jubilee-bracelet configuration, but nickname use is inconsistent; confirm the reference and bracelet rather than relying on either label.
The bezel insert is ceramic, while the case is Oystersteel. The brochure also specifies a screw-down Triplock crown, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops date lens, and a Chromalight display on the dial. How the GMT display works
The 24-hour hand indicates reference time. The bezel’s 24-hour scale works with that hand to show an additional time zone. For travel, the conventional hour hand can be adjusted independently in rapid increments to set local time; the date is synchronized with local time. This is a useful arrangement for keeping home or reference time visible while changing local time, but it should not be mistaken for several separately adjustable GMT hands.

Rolex describes these functions in its GMT-Master II model overview. The bezel rotates bidirectionally, allowing its scale to be aligned for the desired second-zone indication.
Movement, accuracy and water resistance
The watch uses Rolex calibre 3285, a mechanical self-winding movement with GMT function. Rolex publishes an approximately 70-hour power reserve and a precision tolerance of −2/+2 seconds per day after casing. It is certified as a Rolex Superlative Chronometer, which Rolex describes as COSC certification followed by Rolex certification after casing. The stated accuracy is a manufacturer specification, not an independently measured result for this review.

Rolex rates the watch water resistant to 100 metres (330 feet). That rating is a published specification, not a claim based on a test performed for this review. The movement, precision and water-resistance figures appear in the official technical brochure.
Jubilee or Oyster bracelet?
Rolex offers the GMT-Master II in Oyster and Jubilee bracelet configurations. The choice changes the bracelet’s style and configuration, not the documented GMT operation of the watch. Rolex lists an Oysterlock safety clasp and Easylink comfort extension for the bracelet options; Easylink adds approximately 5 mm of length. No objective comfort or value advantage between the two is established by these specifications.

When comparing a photograph, retailer page or listing, check the full reference and bracelet configuration; a nickname alone does not establish which version is being offered. Rolex’s model overview describes both bracelet choices.
Price and availability
A current retail price, local stock level and delivery timing cannot be stated reliably without a market and date. Rolex’s technical brochure does not publish those details. Check the current local quote and availability with Rolex or a locally authorized retailer, and compare any secondary-market offer against the exact reference and bracelet configuration. Do not infer seller authorization from a marketplace listing.

Who should consider it
The 126710BLNR makes the most sense for someone who will use its independent local-hour adjustment and second-zone indication, and who likes the distinctive black-and-blue bezel. A prospective buyer choosing between bracelets should decide based on the look and configuration they prefer rather than assuming one is inherently more comfortable or valuable. The manufacturer’s published figures establish the specifications, but they do not substitute for an individual’s wrist fit or a hands-on assessment.
