Expired: Samsung’s UK promotion that paired selected Galaxy S25 phones with a free Galaxy Chromebook Go, Galaxy Watch7 and an app discount was real, but it is no longer available. Qualifying purchases had to be made from 20 August to 2 October 2025; the 10% app code reportedly ended on 4 September 2025. This was a UK-only, redemption-based campaign—not a current US offer or a permanent S25 benefit.
What the 2025 UK offer included
Samsung’s UK offers listing described separate rewards, while SamMobile reported the broader S25/S25+ package and its promotional values. The phone had to be bought through Samsung UK during the campaign window, then the rewards had to be claimed.
| Benefit | What was offered | Important condition |
|---|---|---|
| Chromebook | Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go 14-inch | Qualifying Samsung UK purchase followed by redemption |
| Smartwatch | Galaxy Watch7 40mm Bluetooth | Eligible phone purchase and separate redemption |
| Phone discount | 10% off with code S25APP | Samsung Shop app; SamMobile reported a 4 September 2025 deadline |
| Trade-in | Reported £200 guaranteed discount in the initial campaign | Device and submission rules still applied; this was not a universal cash payment |
| Google AI Pro | Six months, stated value £113 | Promotional account and subscription conditions applied |
| Samsung Care+ | Three months free | Reportedly required signing up for a Monthly Plan |
Samsung’s official promotion page is the primary reference for the campaign dates and reward combinations: Samsung UK offers. SamMobile’s original report lists the £399 Chromebook reference value, £189 Watch7 reference value and the S25APP code: SamMobile’s deal report.
Which Galaxy phones qualified?
SamMobile specifically identified the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ as the phones in the package. Samsung’s offer listing separated eligibility by reward: the Chromebook Go listing included Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra and Fold7, while the Watch7 40mm Bluetooth listing included Galaxy S25 and Flip7 FE. Therefore, you cannot assume that every S25-series model received both products.

- The purchase needed to be made through Samsung’s UK shop; a carrier, marketplace or overseas order was not automatically eligible.
- The evidence does not establish that the S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, every storage option or every colour qualified for both rewards.
- The campaign was for the United Kingdom. Samsung US ran separate S25 promotions with different terms; see its US S25 offers page.
How the free devices were claimed
“Free” meant free by redemption, not products placed automatically in the phone box or deducted instantly at checkout. The practical sequence was:
- Buy an eligible phone from Samsung UK during the stated purchase period.
- Keep the order confirmation, invoice and delivery evidence. Samsung could also request an IMEI or serial number.
- Open the promotion or redemption portal linked from Samsung’s offer page and submit the claim before the deadline.
- Enter the requested purchase and personal details, then retain the confirmation of submission.
- Wait for the approved reward to be dispatched. The available campaign information does not establish a guaranteed processing time.
Save screenshots of the promotional checkout as well as your order number. They are useful if the claim portal cannot match the purchase or if an app discount is missing.
How the 10% discount worked
The reported 10% saving was not a general S25 price reduction. It required purchasing in the Samsung Shop app and entering S25APP. SamMobile reported 4 September 2025 as the code deadline—earlier than the 2 October phone-purchase and redemption deadline.
- Check that the code is entered in the app, not on the ordinary website.
- Confirm the reduction in the final order summary before payment.
- Check the campaign terms for storage variants, monthly-plan orders, trade-in combinations and accessory exclusions.
- If the code fails, possible causes include an expired campaign, an excluded product or payment method, a non-combinable promotion, or a regional/account mismatch.
What were the rewards worth?
SamMobile reported promotional reference values of £399 for the Galaxy Chromebook Go and £189 for the Galaxy Watch7 40mm Bluetooth—a combined stated value of £588. That is not guaranteed cash savings or resale value, and the rewards did not reduce the phone’s checkout price by £588.

The Chromebook Go is an entry-level ChromeOS computer suited to web browsing, schoolwork, streaming and light productivity. It is not a substitute for a premium Windows laptop or MacBook. The watch was specifically the 40mm Bluetooth model: not the 44mm version, an LTE edition or Watch Ultra. Anyone needing independent cellular service should price an LTE watch separately.
Was it a good deal?
It made sense if you already wanted the phone
- You were buying an S25 or S25+ anyway.
- You could use, gift or resell a basic Chromebook.
- You wanted a Samsung smartwatch and were happy with Bluetooth-only connectivity.
- You had an Android phone that met the trade-in rules.
- You could complete the claim before the deadline and use the Samsung Shop app.
It was less compelling in other cases
- You wanted the S25 Ultra or another model not documented as receiving both rewards.
- You needed an LTE watch or the newest Galaxy Watch generation.
- You wanted an immediate discount rather than a post-purchase claim.
- You had no use for ChromeOS or needed demanding software such as professional video-editing tools, games or desktop development environments.
- A carrier offered a larger bill credit, or buying the watch alone was cheaper than choosing Samsung’s phone package.
Trade-in and subscription cautions
SamMobile’s initial report described a guaranteed £200 trade-in discount for an Android phone in any condition. A later related campaign reportedly changed that minimum to £50 and added a £100 phone reduction. Those were different campaign versions and must not be combined.
“Any condition” does not remove normal trade-in checks. Ownership, blacklist status, locks, shipping and inspection requirements can affect acceptance or final credit, so the exact terms for the applicable campaign controlled the result.
Google AI Pro and Samsung Care+ were promotional extras, not cash-equivalent ownership benefits. A trial can convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled, while the Care+ offer reportedly depended on a Monthly Plan. Check account, country, age and renewal conditions before treating either as savings.

Why you cannot claim it now
- Qualifying phone purchases ended on 2 October 2025.
- The reported S25APP deadline was 4 September 2025.
- The free-device redemption deadline was also reported as 2 October 2025.
- Later Samsung promotions changed the trade-in and phone-discount terms rather than extending the original package.
As of 16 August 2026, do not buy an S25 expecting this Chromebook and Watch7 bundle. Samsung’s current UK campaigns are listed on its live offers page; compare whatever is shown there with carrier trade-in credits and the cost of buying a watch or Chromebook separately.
What to check instead
Current Samsung UK offers
Start with Samsung UK’s live offers hub for current phone, wearable, trade-in and bundle promotions. It is the appropriate source for UK financing, first-party warranty and Samsung-specific incentives, but it does not recreate the expired 2025 deal.
Newer Galaxy phones
By 2026, the S25 is an older generation. If its price is not substantially lower, compare a current Galaxy S-series model for remaining software support and newer hardware before purchasing.
Standalone Watch7 or a carrier bundle
If the watch was the main attraction, compare a standalone Watch7 price with newer models and with UK carrier plans. Include any separate LTE data charge in the total cost.

Chromebook alternatives
Buy a Chromebook only if ChromeOS meets your needs. For gaming, development, specialist applications or intensive editing, choose a suitable Windows or macOS laptop instead.
For a current US comparison, Samsung’s separate US featured offers page shows why UK and US promotions should not be treated as interchangeable.
The Bottom Line
The Galaxy S25 Chromebook-and-Watch7 package was a genuine Samsung UK promotion, but it expired in October 2025. Treat the £588 figure as reported promotional values, not guaranteed cash, and check Samsung UK’s current offers before making any 2026 purchase.
