The Mission to the Super Blue Moonphase is the blue Bioceramic MoonSwatch chronograph, reference SO33N700, created by OMEGA and Swatch. What the Super Blue Moonphase is
Swatch labels SO33N700 “MISSION TO THE SUPER BLUE MOONPHASE.” It belongs to the Bioceramic MoonSwatch line and combines a quartz chronograph with a moon-phase subdial at 2 o’clock. The blue case, bezel, crown and pushers are made from Swatch Bioceramic. The dial uses a blue-and-silver opaline panda layout, with blue hands and hour markers, and the watch is supplied on a blue VELCRO strap with contrasting light-blue stitching.
The model is described by Swatch as part of its “Limited Moonphase” collection. No official production-count figure is established, so rarity cannot responsibly be expressed as a known number of pieces.
Release date and original retail pricing
Swatch announced availability at selected points of sale worldwide from August 1 through August 19, 2024. Regional schedules differed. Swatch Group Japan’s notice specified sales from August 1 through August 20, after 5 p.m. during the “blue hour,” at selected stores, with a limit of one watch per person per day.

Design details that set it apart
Moon-phase display
The subdial at 2 o’clock shows two large blue moons against a dark-blue disc. This is the watch’s signature complication and the clearest visual distinction from MoonSwatch chronographs without a moon-phase display.
Pulsometer bezel
The blue Bioceramic bezel carries a white-marked pulsometer scale. Most MoonSwatch models use a tachymeter scale, so the pulsometer is a functional and visual change rather than a color-only update.

Hidden ultraviolet detail
Swatch says a secret detail appears on the moon-phase mask and disc under UV light. A small UV flashlight is therefore a practical accessory for inspecting this feature, although the hidden detail is not visible under ordinary lighting.
