That is twice the 16GB listed for Galaxy Watch6. “Three variants” is not the count supported by Samsung’s launch materials: the listed choices can make four size-and-connectivity combinations where both connection types are sold for each size.
How many Galaxy Watch7 variants are there, and is the storage doubled?
Samsung’s launch announcement says Galaxy Watch7 “will be available in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm.” Its specifications also list Bluetooth and LTE configurations. These are two ways to describe the lineup: two case sizes, and up to four size/connectivity combinations if both connection types are available in a buyer’s market. Samsung’s cited materials do not establish three official variants.
Storage did double on the listed specifications: Samsung gives Watch7 32GB and its 2023 Watch6 launch specifications give Watch6 16GB. Both models are listed with 2GB of memory. What differs between the 40mm and 44mm models?
The case size changes more than the watch’s external dimensions. Samsung lists a larger display and battery for the 44mm model. Figures below are Samsung specifications from its 2024 launch materials, not independently tested results.

Bluetooth or LTE: which configuration should you choose?
Samsung lists both Bluetooth and LTE configurations. Bluetooth is the straightforward choice if you expect to use the watch alongside a nearby phone. LTE adds cellular connectivity, but the cited launch materials do not specify carrier, plan, or regional availability details. Confirm that an LTE model is sold in your market and check carrier support and service requirements before buying.

To compare listings accurately, match both the case size and connectivity type. A 40mm Bluetooth listing and a 44mm LTE listing differ on two axes, so neither should be treated as a direct comparison of just size or just cellular connectivity.

- Case size: Choose between 40mm and 44mm; Samsung lists different display and typical battery-capacity specifications for the two sizes.
- Connection: Check whether the listing is Bluetooth or LTE, and verify LTE availability and carrier requirements locally.
- Color: Confirm the color offered for the exact size and connection configuration in your region.
