The Studio Underd0g x Fears 02SERIES Mim0sa is a 38 mm hand-wound watch, reference 02MIG, built around a layered, luminous dial. It was the final release in the brands’ cocktail-themed collaboration, offered for a limited nine-hour window in October 2025 and now marked discontinued by Studio Underd0g. One important detail remains unresolved: the official product page gives two different movements and power reserves.
What is the 02SERIES Mim0sa?
The 02MIG Mim0sa is a collaboration between British independent watch brand Studio Underd0g and Fears. Fratello described it as the final watch in the pair’s cocktail trilogy, following the Gimlet and Manhattan. Its defining feature is a layered dial that uses a thin sapphire disc above a multi-layer luminous surface. Studio Underd0g’s product page describes Fears as a family-run British watch company established in Bristol in 1846; that history is the brand’s own account.
The name and dial take their cue from the Mimosa cocktail. Rather than relying on a conventional printed dial, the watch uses a transparent upper disc and luminous layers to create depth and a distinctive appearance.

These figures and construction details are from Studio Underd0g’s official Mim0sa page. The 20 mm lug width means a 20 mm strap is the nominal size to look for. The supplied strap tapers to 16 mm at its buckle; replacement straps may not. Check that a candidate strap’s end shape and spring bars clear the case and fit correctly rather than relying on width alone.

The movement specification is contradictory
There is no settled movement specification in the available published information. Studio Underd0g’s current product page contradicts itself: its specification table lists a manual Sellita SW200-2 M Power+ with a 63-hour power reserve and stated accuracy of ±7 seconds per day, while a later movement passage on the same page names the SW210-1 and a 42-hour reserve. Fratello’s October 2025 launch article also reports the SW210-1, 42 hours and ±7 seconds per day.
Until the manufacturer clarifies the discrepancy, neither movement claim should be treated as definitively established for delivered 02MIG watches. The sources do not establish that there was a mid-production change, so it would be misleading to present the conflict as a confirmed change between versions.

Launch window, original price and current availability
Studio Underd0g says the Mim0sa was available during a nine-hour window on October 23 and is now discontinued. Fratello’s October 20, 2025 launch report gives the window as 15:00–00:00 BST on October 23, 2025, and reports original prices of £1,000, €1,000 and US$1,300, with a two-year warranty. Those are launch-era details, not current resale prices or a guarantee of present availability.
The official discontinued label establishes that Studio Underd0g no longer offers it as a current release; the cited information does not establish whether examples are currently listed on the secondary market or what they cost there.

How the layered dial is made
Studio Underd0g describes the dial as a 1 mm sapphire disc above seven luminous layers on a brass base. The company says each CNC machine produces only 6–8 discs per day and estimates a yield of approximately 50–60% for CNC disc production. It separately gives an approximately 50–60% yield for surface finishing and says a polishing unit handles around 20 pieces per seven-hour batch. These are manufacturer-reported process figures on the undated product page, not independent production measurements or general watch-industry benchmarks.

The Mim0sa belongs to the same cocktail-themed collaboration as the Gimlet and Manhattan, and Fratello identifies it as the trilogy’s last installment. The available information supports that relationship and the Mim0sa details above, but does not establish a complete, consistent set of specifications, prices or availability details for all three watches. A full model-by-model specification comparison would therefore risk implying facts that are not confirmed here.
