How the Solargraph movement works
The TH50-00 is a solar quartz movement that TAG Heuer says can draw energy from natural or artificial light. The brand claims up to 10 months of autonomy after a full charge without light exposure, and battery life of up to 15 years. TAG Heuer’s 2024 brochure also states that a fully charged Solargraph can run for up to 10 months without light. These are manufacturer claims, not independently verified runtime results. Time+Tide reported a launch price of A$4,450 in 2024. Its article gives conflicting UK figures—£2,700 in the availability paragraph and £2,750 in the specifications table—while its launch video lists £2,750. TAG Heuer’s US page displays $3,250 but also marks the watch discontinued; that display is not evidence of an available offer or a current transaction price. Time+Tide said availability would begin on 18 November at 21:00 CET / 19 November at 07:00 AEDT. Those dates and times describe the announced launch schedule, not present availability. The conflicting UK prices are best treated as an inconsistency in the launch coverage rather than a single confirmed UK price.
