The Watch Ho & Co. x Selten Jui 聚 is a limited-run automatic watch made for the Hong Kong watch community’s second anniversary. Its defining feature is a black Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial engraved with a mountain-like pattern. The original 72-hour preorder opened on 13 August 2025 at 23:00 HKT for US$1,099; that launch window has passed, and the announced black-dial configuration was not to be produced again after the run.
What is the Jui 聚 limited edition?
Watch Ho & Co. and Selten created the Jui 聚 to mark the second anniversary of Watch Ho & Co., a Hong Kong watch community. Launch coverage translates “Jui” as “to meet, to gather,” a name connected to the community behind the collaboration. Its visual focus is a natural black Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial CNC-engraved with a guilloché-like mountain pattern inspired, according to the launch coverage, by ancient Chinese armour. These are published descriptions, not independent assessments of the material or finishing.
What are the published specifications?
| Specification | Jui 聚 |
|---|---|
| Case | Stainless steel; 39 mm diameter, 9.95 mm thick, 45.5 mm lug-to-lug |
| Dial | Natural black Tahitian mother-of-pearl with CNC-engraved mountain pattern |
| Movement | Miyota 9039 automatic; stated 42-hour power reserve |
| Functions listed | Hours and minutes |
| Crystal and caseback | Domed sapphire front crystal with inner anti-reflective coating; exhibition sapphire caseback |
| Water resistance | 50 metres / 5 ATM, as published |
| Lug width | 20 mm |
| Original strap | Hand-stitched French Epsom leather, green goatskin lining, pin buckle |
The figures are those reported in launch coverage; they are not the result of hands-on testing. The listed functions are hours and minutes, so the specification does not establish a running seconds hand or chronometer certification. Likewise, the 50-metre rating is a published rating, not a report of a water test.
How does the Jui fit, and what strap can it take?
At 39 mm across and 45.5 mm lug-to-lug, the case dimensions give a useful starting point for judging wrist fit; thickness is 9.95 mm. Actual comfort depends on wrist shape, strap stiffness and how the watch sits, so dimensions alone cannot predict fit for every wearer.

The published lug width is 20 mm, which is the nominal strap width to look for when replacing the original leather strap. Check the replacement’s width, buckle arrangement and compatibility with the specific watch before ordering. The original strap is described as French Epsom leather with green goatskin lining and a pin buckle.
What did it cost, and can you still buy it?
Time+Tide reported a 72-hour preorder starting 13 August 2025 at 23:00 HKT, with a preorder price of US$1,099. The launch coverage said the black Tahitian mother-of-pearl configuration would not be produced again after that run. That is historical release information, not confirmation of present stock or an offer to purchase.

How does it relate to the later Jui Bauhinia?
The Bauhinia is a later branch of the Jui collaboration documented by Selten alongside Watch Ho & Co. It should not be confused with the original black-MOP configuration: check the exact variant’s dial, dimensions, movement, price and availability on its current product page rather than assuming every specification carries over. One official Bauhinia product page states a 24-month warranty from shipment, subject to exclusions; verify the terms for the specific variant before purchase.
