8. GRV: cheapest, but the weakest reliability case
What it offers
The GRV Smart Watch was listed at $26.99 and had a reported 4.0-star rating from more than 13,000 Amazon reviews. Buyers mention basic activity, heart-rate and sleep functions, a simple touchscreen, and compatibility with iOS and Android.
What users complain about
Recurring reviews describe broken bands, failed screens, shutdowns after pool use, unreliable step, sleep and heart-rate readings, and difficulty maintaining a phone connection. These are anecdotal reports, not a measured failure rate, but they make the low price a meaningful trade-off.
Who should buy it
Choose GRV only when the lowest possible upfront cost matters more than dependable tracking, long service life or strong support. “Waterproof” should not be read as protection against every swimming or water exposure scenario.
7. Motorola: attractive hardware with mixed long-term feedback
The Moto Watch 120 was priced just under $80 and carried a reported 4.2 stars from roughly 700 reviews. Its AMOLED screen, GPS, health functions and sleek styling appeal to buyers who want a conventional-looking watch.

The smaller review sample makes its score less comparable with products reviewed thousands of times. It is a style-led option, not the safest reliability pick.
6. Xiaomi: impressive specifications, software caveats
Hardware value
The Redmi Watch 5 Lite was listed at $54.99 with a reported 4.5 stars from about 3,700 reviews. Xiaomi lists more than 150 workout modes, built-in GNSS, Bluetooth calling, Bluetooth 5.3, heart-rate monitoring and support for Android 8.0 or later and iOS 12.0 or later in its official specifications.
Where ownership can be frustrating
Customers report phone-connection failures on Android and iPhone, Bluetooth interference, reboots during exercise and erased settings. Check the exact regional app and model before ordering; specifications and availability vary by market.
Water warning
Xiaomi describes the watch as 5ATM-rated for pool swimming and shallow water, but excludes hot showers, saunas, diving and high-speed water impact. Its water-resistance guidance also says resistance can weaken over time.

5. Fitbit: the strongest health ecosystem, with subscription and syncing trade-offs
The Inspire 3, primarily a fitness tracker rather than a full smartwatch, was listed just under $100 and had 4.3 stars from approximately 23,000 reviews. Users value all-day activity, stress tools, heart-rate and sleep tracking, and Fitbit’s mature phone app.
Slow or failed syncing, phone-connection problems, battery complaints and disputed sleep results recur in reviews. Fitbit Premium is optional, but some deeper insights and programs require the subscription. This is a good choice for someone already invested in Fitbit’s ecosystem, less so for buyers who want every useful feature without recurring costs.
4. Huawei: excellent reported value if your region supports it
The Huawei Band 8 had a reported 4.7 stars from more than 3,000 reviews at a $59.99 source price. Customers praise its light, comfortable band, battery life, fast charging, sleep tracking and notifications.
Connection failures and data or settings resets are the principal recurring complaints. More importantly, Huawei wearable availability, companion-app support and feature access differ by country and phone platform. A high marketplace rating cannot overcome a model that is difficult to buy or support where you live.

3. CMF by Nothing: standout design and features under $100
The CMF Watch Pro 2 was reported at roughly $55 on Amazon; the U.S. product page showed a $49 sale price against a $69 comparison price when crawled earlier in 2026. Its reported Amazon score was 4.3 from about 1,500 reviews.
Multi-system GPS, heart-rate tracking, Bluetooth calling, fitness tools, AI noise reduction, water resistance and Android/iOS support give it an unusually full specification list for the money. Reviews praise its appearance, smooth interface and build quality, while others report companion-app connection and fitness-tracking problems.
Nothing says battery life is “up to 11 days” under a defined typical-use scenario, not continuous GPS or heavy calling, and states that heart rate, blood oxygen and stress figures are for personal reference rather than medical use on its official U.S. page. CMF is a strong value pick, but not a clinical monitor or the most mature fitness platform.

Connection and tracking-accuracy complaints remain, and this band does not provide the full app experience of a Galaxy Watch. Samsung compatibility is model- and phone-specific; consult the company’s compatibility guidance rather than assuming every Android phone or iPhone supports every feature. Also verify whether the regional Fit 3 uses independent satellite GPS or phone-assisted location before buying.
1. Amazfit: best overall balance in this comparison
The Amazfit Bip 6 was listed at $79 and had a reported 4.4 stars from approximately 4,500 reviews. It combines a lightweight aluminum build, AMOLED display, water-resistant design, GPS, an AI exercise coach and broad fitness tracking.
Reviewers commonly praise design, battery life, syncing, perceived tracking performance and value. A minority report that the watch suddenly stopped working. Those reports warrant a return-policy check, but they do not outweigh the model’s overall balance for a sub-$100 buyer.
Amazfit is the best overall recommendation here—not the best smartwatch at any price. Buyers who need LTE, payments, extensive third-party apps, advanced training analytics or a premium software ecosystem should spend more.
