Choose the band size that matches your watch case; 41mm and 45mm accessories are not interchangeable.
What Bellroy actually announced
Bellroy made a dedicated Pixel Watch Strap in collaboration with Google. It uses the watch’s proprietary connector rather than a generic leather strap fitted with an adapter, and it is presented as a Made for Google accessory.
The original announcement was reported on August 14, 2024, with an expected September release. That timing changed: preorders opened on October 10, 2024 for $69, a Google Store listing was reported in December, and coverage in January 2025 reported store availability. As of August 18, 2026, Google lists the product rather than describing it as merely “coming soon.”
Bellroy’s Made for Google page describes a Google accessory collaboration and compatibility certification. Bellroy makes the band; Google does not manufacture it and disclaims responsibility for its operation and regulatory compliance.

Compatibility: buy the matching case size
Google’s current product listing explicitly supports these combinations:

Google’s sizing guidance states that 45mm accessories work only with 45mm Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 4 models. Select 41mm or 45mm based on the watch case, not wrist size. Earlier reports mentioned possible support for the original Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2, but the current Google Store listing does not explicitly confirm those models. Treat older-generation compatibility as unverified unless the live Bellroy or Google documentation says otherwise.
Check Google’s band sizing and attachment guidance before ordering, especially if buying from a regional storefront with different variant labels.

Materials, colors and listed dimensions
Google describes an adjustable construction using eco-tanned leather on the exterior and flexible polymer components. The product is intended to age over time, but the available specification does not establish a particular leather grade, waterproofing, or a sustainability certification beyond the “eco-tanned” description. It is therefore more accurate to call it a leather-and-polymer band than an all-leather strap.
The listed colors are Black and Terracotta. Google gives these dimensions:

The unusual width difference is reproduced as Google lists it; the page does not explain how width was measured, so it should not be read as proof that the 45mm strap is narrower across its entire length.

$69 is documented as the October 2024 preorder price, not a guaranteed August 2026 price. Google’s indexed product text does not expose a current live price or universal stock status. Check the local Google Store or Bellroy page for the amount, taxes, delivery date, returns and whether both colors and sizes are in stock.

What “Made for Google” means
The designation confirms that Bellroy’s accessory has been certified against Google’s compatibility standards. It does not mean Google made the strap, independently tested its long-term durability, or guarantees that the leather suits every skin type or activity. Google recommends Google-branded or authorized accessories because poorly fitting third-party connectors and materials can create fit or skin-sensitivity issues; Bellroy’s certification addresses the connector and compatibility relationship, not every use condition.

Bellroy versus Google’s own bands
Google offers several band categories, including Active or sport, woven, leather and metal options, with regional and size availability varying. Bellroy’s distinction is its watch-specific connector, leather-and-polymer construction, Bellroy styling, and Black or Terracotta color choices.

There is no evidence here that Bellroy is more durable or comfortable than Google’s own options. Its advantage is primarily the leather appearance and officially supported Pixel Watch connector.

No supplied manufacturer specification establishes that this strap is waterproof, swim-safe, shower-safe or sweatproof. Leather is a sensible choice for work and everyday casual wear, while a sport or polymer band is the safer practical choice for regular swimming, showering or strenuous workouts. That is activity guidance, not a claim that the Bellroy strap is guaranteed to fail when wet.
