What is the Breitling Aston Martin Formula One Navitimer?
It is a co-branded Navitimer B01 chronograph made for Breitling’s partnership with Aston Martin and its Formula One team. The team announced the global, multi-year partnership on 5 February 2026, describing it as spanning Aston Martin road cars as well as its F1 programme. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 is the first co-branded watch identified in that announcement.
The model combines the Navitimer’s circular slide-rule bezel and chronograph layout with team-specific details: a carbon-fibre dial, Aston Martin Racing Green and lime accents, and a sapphire caseback showing a matte-black rotor with the team logo. The titanium case is a first for a Navitimer, according to the team announcement. Its textured anthracite calfskin strap is described by the team as recalling a racing harness.
Breitling and Aston Martin Aramco date the Navitimer’s origins to 1952, when it was conceived as a cockpit instrument. The team announcement also names F1 drivers and pilots Graham Hill and Jim Clark as Navitimer wearers. Those heritage details are the brands’ account of the watch’s history.

The reference is EB01381A1B1X1, and Breitling identifies the edition as limited to 1,959 pieces. The number commemorates Aston Martin’s F1 debut in 1959. The team says the caseback is marked “One of 1959” and “Instruments for Drivers.”

What does the Navitimer slide rule do?
The rotating circular scale is a mechanical calculator. Breitling describes it as capable of supporting calculations such as speed, flight time, fuel consumption and unit conversion. Its presence reflects the Navitimer’s aviation-instrument heritage; it should not be confused with equipment required for modern flight operations, where aircraft onboard computers handle operational calculations.
Can you swim with a 30 m water-resistant watch?
Breitling specifies 3 bar, or 30 m, water resistance. That rating is not a claim that the watch is suitable for swimming or diving. Treat it as a modest water-resistance specification, not as a dive-watch rating, and consult Breitling’s current care guidance before exposing the watch to water.

How much does it cost, and is it available?
On 2 October 2026, Breitling’s UK product listing showed £8,900 including VAT. The figure is specific to that regional listing and date; it is not a resale valuation or a price for every market. Local pricing, taxes, stock and warranty terms can differ or change. A product page alone does not establish availability in every country or at every retailer.
The same UK listing states a five-year international warranty, with an extension of up to three years available through online registration. Check the applicable local terms, registration deadline, exclusions and service availability with Breitling before relying on that extension.
