Emporio Armani Connected is a Fossil Group smartwatch line, but the official sources available document touchscreen collections from 2018 and 2019—not a current new-generation Armani Wear OS watch. Google’s current help page lists Armani devices in the Wear OS 2.x category. The hardware and features vary by exact model, so neither “latest” nor “same hardware” should be taken to mean that every Armani Connected watch is identical.
Is there a new Emporio Armani Connected Wear OS watch?
The latest Armani touchscreen collection documented in the sources here is the 2019 collection announced by Fossil Japan. Its listed model numbers are ART5021, ART5022, ART5023, ART5024 and ART5025. Google’s current Wear OS device-help page places Armani devices in the Wear OS 2.x category. That is a category-level status, not a model-by-model update history. What hardware does the documented Armani watch use?

Fossil Group’s July 16, 2018 announcement identifies Wear OS and the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform for that collection. It also says the watches work with iPhone and Android phones. - NFC payments, with Google Pay availability limited to select countries.
- Built-in GPS.
- Wrist-based voice assistance, with Google Assistant availability limited by country.
These are claims in the 2018 announcement, not confirmation that every model has each feature or that every service remains available in a given region today.
Does Armani Connected run Wear OS 3?
Google’s current device-help page lists Armani under Wear OS 2.x, not as a Wear OS 3 device. Because Google’s entry is not a model-by-model update history, it is safest to treat Wear OS 3 support for a specific Armani watch as unestablished by these sources, rather than infer support from another Fossil Group product. Is Armani Connected the same watch as Fossil Gen 6?
No. Fossil Gen 6 is a separate product line and its specifications cannot be attributed to an Emporio Armani Connected watch. Fossil lists this Gen 6 configuration with a Snapdragon Wear 4100+, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB storage and a 1.28-inch, 416 × 416 AMOLED display. Those details describe Fossil Gen 6 only. What to check before buying or relying on one
Compare the exact model and generation, not just the Armani Connected name. For an older or second-hand watch, ask the seller for the model number and verify the installed software and working features on the actual device. The official launch announcements do not establish present-day inventory, prices, repair coverage or current compatibility for every phone and service.
