What is the Louis Erard x Astro Boy watch?
Officially named the 2340 Louis Erard x Astro Boy, reference 35123TA23.BMT12 is a limited-edition sports watch from Louis Erard. The brand says it was developed in collaboration with Tezuka Productions and will be produced in 178 pieces. The official listing describes it as unavailable for sale in Hong Kong, China, and Macao; that restriction applies to the listing and should not be read as a broader statement about other markets.
The concept brings a licensed Astro Boy collaboration into Louis Erard’s 2340 platform rather than treating the character as a small logo detail. The Japanese distributor, Osawa Shokai, describes Astro Boy flying across a “future city” scene, with Brando behind him. Louis Erard calls the dial setting “Metro City.” Osawa Shokai frames the character around coexistence, empathy, and resistance to discrimination; that is the distributor’s interpretation of the edition’s theme.
How is the dial designed?
The dial is constructed in layers. A vertically satin-brushed city motif forms the background, while the applied Astro Boy and Brando figures sit above it. A chapter ring with a white minute track frames the scene. Louis Erard specifies coloured pad printing on the Astro Boy applique and a black “LE” emblem on the robot applique.

How much does the Louis Erard Astro Boy watch cost?
Louis Erard’s official product page lists the watch at CHF 3,990 excluding tax. The listing also gives a five-to-ten-day delivery estimate and a three-year warranty; delivery timing and availability can depend on geography and purchase channel.
For Japan, Osawa Shokai announced a late-November 2025 launch at ¥1,056,000. That is a Japanese distributor’s launch-announcement price, not a universal current price. The Swiss figure excludes tax, so the two prices should not be compared as though they share a market or tax basis.
