Verdict: The Fitbit Versa 4 has been sold for $149.95—$50, or about 25%, below its $199.95 list price—but that confirmed Google Store promotion ran only from June 8 through June 28, 2026. The Google Store’s current product listing shows $199.95, so do not assume a search snippet or old deal article proves a live discount. Check the cart, seller, condition and delivery availability before paying.
What the Fitbit Versa 4 deal actually is
Google’s U.S. product page currently lists the Versa 4 at $199.95: Google Store Fitbit Versa 4. Google’s offers page records a $149.95 sale, a $50 reduction from that list price, but dates it June 8–28, 2026: Google Store offers. That promotion is expired.
Staples search results have shown selected Versa 4 listings at $149.95, and a deal report described a $149.99 Kohl’s price plus $30 in Kohl’s Cash. Those pages do not establish that either offer is still available. Kohl’s Cash is future store credit with its own terms, not an immediate $30 reduction.

How to verify a $149.95 listing before buying
- Open the retailer’s product page rather than relying on a search-result price.
- Confirm the exact model, color and SKU. A discount may apply to one color only.
- Check that the item is new, not refurbished, renewed, open-box or supplied by a marketplace seller.
- Enter your ZIP code and confirm the price remains $149.95 or $149.99 in the cart, before tax and shipping.
- Read whether a coupon, membership, pickup-only condition or minimum purchase is required.
- Verify the seller, return period and warranty. Google says warranty terms vary by country or region and accidental damage is excluded; see Google’s Fitbit warranty support.
- Review the Google Health Premium trial terms and cancel before renewal if you do not want a paid membership.
What you get with the Versa 4
The Versa 4 is a watch-style fitness tracker with built-in GPS, so it can record outdoor pace and distance without carrying a phone during a workout. Google advertises more than 40 exercise modes, heart-rate and activity tracking, sleep and SpO2 measurements, stress and breathing-rate information, skin-temperature trends, and a Daily Readiness Score. These are wellness features, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
- Battery: Google advertises six-plus days, with up to one day’s charge in 12 minutes. GPS, calls, notifications, an always-on display and other settings can shorten runtime.
- Durability: Water resistance is rated to 50 meters. “Water resistant” does not mean indestructible or suitable for every water activity.
- Smart features: Notifications, Google Maps, Google Wallet, Alexa, Find My Phone and Bluetooth calls are supported. Calls and many connected features require the paired phone to be nearby; this is not a cellular watch.
- Compatibility: The watch works with Android and iOS devices.
The current Google listing includes three months of Google Health Premium. Basic tracking should not be described as requiring Premium, but some advanced coaching, detailed stress information, workout content and mindfulness sessions may be subscription-gated after the introductory period.
Is a $150 Versa 4 a good buy?
Why the discount is appealing
- Built-in GPS at roughly $150 is useful for runners and walkers who do not want to carry a phone.
- The advertised multi-day battery is longer than many full-featured smartwatch alternatives.
- Android and iPhone support makes it a flexible choice for households that use different platforms.
- It combines fitness tracking with practical basics such as payments, maps and phone notifications.
Reasons to be cautious
- Versa 4 is older hardware, so a deep discount may reflect clearance or replacement of the model.
- It has no independent cellular connection and does not offer the broad app ecosystem of Apple Watch or high-end Wear OS watches.
- Some coaching and content can become recurring Premium expenses after the included trial.
- Marketplace, imported or refurbished units may have different accessories, software support, returns or warranty coverage.
Who should buy it—and who should skip it
Good fit
Buy it if you want a relatively inexpensive, cross-platform fitness watch with GPS, long advertised battery life, sleep and activity tracking, and basic smart functions. At a genuinely verified $149.95, it is most compelling for budget-conscious users who value those fundamentals over cutting-edge smartwatch apps.

Look elsewhere if you need
Choose another device if you need cellular calling without a phone, extensive third-party apps, the newest Fitbit hardware, advanced sport and navigation metrics, or clinical-grade health monitoring. Apple Watch SE is generally stronger for iPhone-centered smartwatch use, while Garmin devices are aimed more at serious training; current prices and specific models should be checked separately.

Alternatives within Fitbit
| Model | Best for | Trade-off versus Versa 4 |
|---|---|---|
| Fitbit Charge 6 | A slimmer, fitness-first tracker | Smaller display and less watch-like interaction |
| Fitbit Inspire 3 | Basic activity, sleep and health tracking at lower cost | Fewer smartwatch features and no Versa-style experience |
| Fitbit Sense 2 | A more health-oriented Fitbit watch | Typically costs more; verify any current promotion |
Google’s offers page has listed discounts on other Fitbit models, but it does not establish a current price for each alternative: Google Store offers.
Bottom line for this deal
The math behind “25% off” is legitimate when the Versa 4 is $149.95 against a $199.95 reference price. The documented Google sale ended June 28, 2026, and the current official listing is $199.95. Treat any $150 listing as unconfirmed until checkout shows the price for your ZIP code and the product is clearly new, covered by an acceptable return policy and backed by appropriate warranty support.
