The 45mm Google Pixel Watch 3 LTE in Polished Silver with a Porcelain band fell to about $224 on Amazon in a deal reported December 16, 2025. Droid Life called it the lowest price its Amazon tracker had recorded at that time. That was a historical deal, not confirmation that the same price is available now.

Amazon listings often group closely related Pixel Watch configurations. Verify all four identifying details—45mm, LTE, Polished Silver and Porcelain—before treating a listing as the same deal.
How much did buyers save?

The discount changes depending on the baseline. The $175 figure compares the deal with the already-reduced $399 price; $275 compares it with the approximately $500 launch price reported in contemporaneous coverage by 9to5Google.
Was it really the best price ever?
Only within the limits of the claim. Droid Life described $224 as the lowest price its Amazon price-history tracker had seen when the December article was published. That does not establish an all-retailer, all-country or all-condition record.

Earlier coverage put 45mm LTE pricing around $400 and Black Friday 2025 coverage reported roughly $250. More importantly, a February 2026 9to5Google report described a 45mm LTE Pixel Watch 3 at about $170. The December wording was therefore accurate as a time-stamped Amazon-tracker result, but it should not be presented as the permanent all-time low.
What LTE actually adds
After activation with a compatible carrier, the LTE model can keep working when your phone is not nearby. Google lists support for calls, texts, music streaming, Google Pay, Google Assistant and emergency functions over cellular connectivity. The watch generally shares the paired phone’s number.
- Initial setup still requires a compatible Android phone and the Google Pixel Watch app.
- LTE service requires a separate carrier plan; hardware LTE does not provide free cellular service.
- For full functionality, the watch and phone generally need to use the same supported operator.
- Carrier support varies by country and network. Check Google’s compatibility and availability list before buying.
If your phone is nearly always in your pocket, the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth model delivers the core notifications and fitness features without an additional monthly charge.

Why choose the 45mm version?
Google’s specifications give the 45mm watch a 420mAh typical battery, a case weight of about 37g without the band and band compatibility for wrists approximately 150–215mm. Its larger display is easier to read for maps, messages and workout data than the 41mm model, but it can feel oversized on a small wrist.

The sensor package includes optical heart-rate, ECG-compatible electrical, accelerometer, gyroscope, skin-temperature, continuous electrodermal-activity, barometer and compass sensors. These are manufacturer specifications rather than independent performance tests. Water resistance is not permanent waterproofing and can decline after age, impact or seal damage. Battery and charging expectations
Google rates both sizes for up to 24 hours with the always-on display enabled, or up to 36 hours in Battery Saver mode. For the 45mm model, Google’s approximate charging figures are 28 minutes to 50%, 50 minutes to 80% and 80 minutes to 100%.

Those are “up to” figures. LTE use, GPS workouts, a bright or always-on display, frequent notifications and continuous health tracking can shorten runtime, especially when the watch is away from the phone.

- Buy it if you use an Android phone, want a larger display and need calls, messages, music, navigation or emergency connectivity without carrying your phone.
- Choose Wi-Fi/Bluetooth if your phone stays nearby and you want to avoid recurring cellular fees.
- Choose 41mm if the 45mm case or its 150–215mm band range is too large for your wrist.
- Consider a newer Pixel Watch generation if its price is close and you value the latest processor, sensors, software-support horizon or battery changes.
Deal coverage has described newer Pixel Watch models as visually similar and potentially close in value, but that is not a complete technical equivalence. Compare the current price and the features you will actually use.

Checks to make before purchasing
- Confirm the listing says 45mm, 4G LTE + Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, Polished Silver and Porcelain.
- Check whether Amazon is the seller or a marketplace seller, and review condition, warranty and return terms.
- Verify that your carrier supports Pixel Watch LTE in your country and determine the monthly service cost using Google’s LTE service guidance.
- Compare the live price with current Pixel Watch 4 and Wi-Fi alternatives rather than relying on the December 2025 headline.
- Remember that the reported $224 price may have expired or may apply to only one color-and-band combination.
Verdict
The December 2025 offer was an unusually strong price for the exact 45mm LTE configuration, but its value now depends on the live listing. Buy the Pixel Watch 3 LTE only when the price remains close to that historical low, your carrier supports it at a reasonable recurring cost and you specifically want phone-free connectivity. Otherwise, a Wi-Fi model or a newer-generation watch may be the better long-term purchase.
