Google’s Pixel Watch Performance Loop band reached Amazon on December 30, 2024; it is not a new Amazon launch. The first reported Amazon options were three colors in the 41 mm size. Current stock, price and variants can change, so check the selected listing before ordering. The band now has a broader compatibility list than those original listings: Google says it fits Pixel Watch models through Pixel Watch 5, but you still need the 41 mm or 45 mm band made for your watch case.
What Google brought to Amazon
Google launched the Performance Loop band through its US Google Store on November 26, 2024, at a US launch price of $59.99. Amazon availability was reported on December 30, 2024. That was an expansion to another retailer, not a new band design or accessory generation. 9to5Google reported the Google Store launch, and its Amazon report documented the initial listings.

Google Pixel Watch Performance Loop Band - Compatible with the Pixel Watch, Pixel Watch 2, and 41mm... | $54.93 | Buy on Amazon |
The band uses recycled polyester, nylon and elastane yarns, stainless-steel lugs, and a stretch, micro-adjustable hook-and-loop fastening system. Google describes it as “workout-friendly” and does not state an ATM rating or a swimming rating on its current product page. The watch itself is sold separately.
Check compatibility and size before buying
Google lists compatibility with Pixel Watch models through Pixel Watch 5. The key distinction is the band’s case size: a 41 mm version and a 45 mm version are separate options, not interchangeable just because both are called Performance Loop.

| Band version | Compatible watches listed by Google | Wrist circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 41 mm | Pixel Watch; Pixel Watch 2; Pixel Watch 3, 4 and 5 in 41 mm | 137–203 mm |
| 45 mm | Pixel Watch 3, 4 and 5 in 45 mm | 140–215 mm |
These compatibility and wrist ranges are from Google’s product page. Measure your wrist rather than choosing by wrist range alone: first match the band version to your watch’s case size, then check that your wrist circumference falls within its stated range. Google advises sizing up when deciding between options and wearing the watch snugly for optimal performance.
Which colors were on Amazon at launch?
The December 30, 2024 report identified these 41 mm versions:
- Peony with polished-silver stainless-steel lugs
- Porcelain with polished-silver lugs
- Wintergreen with champagne-gold lugs
That report said Obsidian and the 45 mm model were not listed at the time. Those are historical launch details, not a statement about today’s Amazon inventory. The report also noted that Amazon grouped Pixel Watch straps in a combined listing structure, which can make the chosen color and size easy to overlook. Confirm both the selected variant and its lug finish on the live listing before checkout. The report’s linked listings were Peony, Porcelain and Wintergreen.
How it compares with silicone for workouts
The hook-and-loop closure makes small fit adjustments easier than a fixed-position clasp, while the stretchy fabric can feel softer and more flexible than a silicone band. That makes the Performance Loop a plausible choice for exercise, sleep and everyday wear—especially for someone who wants a fabric band with a less overtly sporty look.

In a February 2025 review, 9to5Google found the fabric less breathable than expected during longer runs, prone to retaining sweat, and slower to dry after washing than silicone. The reviewer reported that the tested band could remain damp for roughly 45 minutes after washing; that is an observation from one review, not a Google specification or a guaranteed drying time. The same review said attaching the lugs was not especially smooth, but did not establish whether that was a recurring quality issue. Read the review’s observations.
For frequent intense workouts, that review favored Google’s Active Sport band for easier cleaning and better ventilation, while noting its own drawbacks: it could feel slippery and its finish could wear. Choose a band around the conditions you actually face, not the phrase “workout-friendly” alone; Google does not publish a specific swimming or water-resistance rating for the Performance Loop.

The $59.99 figure was the US Google Store launch price in November 2024, not a verified current Amazon price. Current prices and stock were not reliably exposed in the retrieved listing information, so check the live price before comparing. The official band’s case for costing more is its Google styling, stainless-steel lugs, matching metal finishes and fine adjustment—not a demonstrated advantage for every kind of workout.
| Option | What it offers | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| Google Performance Loop | Official design, stainless-steel lugs, precise hook-and-loop adjustment and fabric styling | US launch price was $59.99 in November 2024; current price is not established here. Fabric can retain moisture, according to the February 2025 review. |
| BlackPro nylon two-pack | Similar hook-and-loop idea at a lower historical price | A February 2025 review described it as roughly $10 for two bands and cautioned that the lugs are plastic and the fabric may be less durable. That price is historical, not current. |
| Spigen Lite Fit | Cheaper branded alternative with a flexible design and metal clasp | The February 2025 review cited a historical price of about $20–$25 and noted a more limited color selection. Current price and compatibility should be checked on the listing. |
| Google Active Sport band | Silicone-style option the review preferred for intense exercise and easier cleaning | The review noted slipperiness and finish wear; it does not offer the Performance Loop’s fabric look. |
The third-party prices and comparisons in the table are observations from the February 2025 review, not current quotes. Before buying any alternative, confirm that its listing explicitly matches your Pixel Watch case size, and assess seller reputation and return terms.

Quick Recap
Who should choose the Performance Loop?
- Consider it if you prefer fabric to silicone, want close fit adjustment, value Google’s metal finish matching, or need a 45 mm option and find it at a price you consider reasonable.
- Look elsewhere if your priority is the lowest price, rapid washing and drying, or a strap for long, hot workouts. A silicone or perforated sport band is a more practical direction for those needs.
- Inspect the listing carefully if buying on Amazon: verify the case-size variant, fabric color, lug finish, live price and return terms rather than relying on the original launch report.
