What does the titanium construction mean?
The case and bracelet are both made from high-intensity titanium, so the bracelet is included as part of the specified watch rather than being a separate strap option on the listed model. Grand Seiko says this titanium is 30 percent lighter than steel and describes it as highly resistant to rust, corrosion and scratches. That percentage is the manufacturer’s comparison; it is not an independent measurement in the cited product information. The listed whole-watch weight is 112 g.
How accurate is the Spring Drive movement?
Caliber 9RA2 is specified for accuracy of ±10 seconds per month, also expressed by Grand Seiko as ±0.5 second per day. The stated reserve is approximately 120 hours, or five days. These are the manufacturer’s specifications, not a guarantee that every individual watch will run at precisely that rate in all conditions.

Grand Seiko’s US product page lists the SLGA019 at $11,000 and says it is available through Grand Seiko Boutiques and Grand Seiko Salons. The UK boutique PDF lists an RRP of £9,600 including VAT. These are separate regional listings, not a direct currency comparison; confirm local price, taxes, stock and sales channel with the relevant boutique before buying.

What should you verify before buying?
- Fit: Compare the 40.0 mm diameter, 47.9 mm lug-to-lug length and 11.8 mm US-listed thickness with a watch you already find comfortable. Case dimensions alone cannot predict fit on every wrist.
- Bracelet details: Confirm the specific watch is supplied with its titanium bracelet and that its 22 mm band width, 195 mm listed bracelet perimeter and folding clasp suit your needs. Ask the seller how bracelet sizing or adjustment is handled.
