The original Watch Ho & Co(mmunity) x Selten Jui is a compact automatic watch introduced in August 2025 to mark the Hong Kong watch community’s second anniversary. Its defining detail is a black Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial with an engraved mountain pattern. The later Jui Bauhinia is a separate continuation with pink or purple dial treatments, not the same watch with a new name.
What is the Watch Ho & Co x Selten Jui?
Watch Ho & Co(mmunity) is described by Selten and Waqt as a Hong Kong-based watch club and community; Selten is the independent watch brand behind the collaboration. The original Jui, named for 聚—described in launch coverage as “to meet” or “to gather”—was created to commemorate the community’s second anniversary. Waqt’s August 2025 introduction covers the original release.

The exhibition caseback shows the Miyota 9039. Waqt’s published specification is the source for the dimensions, water-resistance rating and power reserve; it does not establish independent verification of those figures.

What makes the original dial distinctive?
Waqt describes the dial as natural black Tahitian mother-of-pearl, CNC-engraved with a guilloché-style mountain pattern. Openworked sword-style hands sit above it, while a discreet numeral “2” at 2 o’clock marks the anniversary occasion. The combination keeps the celebratory detail subtle rather than making the dial a conventional anniversary layout.
Is the original Selten Jui still available?
Waqt reported that the original Jui was offered for USD 1,099 during a 72-hour preorder window, which had closed by the time of its 16 August 2025 report. That is historical launch information; current stock, resale availability and present pricing have not been established. A closed preorder does not by itself prove that no examples are available through any channel.

What changed on the Jui Bauhinia?
Jui Bauhinia is a later continuation, not simply the original black-dial Jui. Selten’s official Jui Bauhinia product page lists pink and purple dial variants, each limited to 200 pieces. The successor uses natural white mother-of-pearl with pink or purple tones rather than the original’s black Tahitian mother-of-pearl. Selten describes its returning mountain motif and Bauhinia symbolism as references to Hong Kong, home, resilience, unity and the collector community; those are the brand’s stated design meanings.

Selten’s Bauhinia launch article explains the successor’s symbolism and describes its hands as heat-treated, skeletonized sword hands. That hand treatment belongs to the Bauhinia description and should not be assumed to describe the original Jui. Jackie Ho, founder of Watch Ho & Co(mmunity), said: “Jui Bauhinia represents the resilience and beauty of our home, Hong Kong”.

For the successor’s reported price, Deployant’s 6 February 2026 report gives USD 1,250. This is a reported price for Jui Bauhinia, not the original Jui, and neither source establishes current availability.
