Hamilton’s only Khaki Field announcement recorded in its September 2025 press archive is the Khaki Field Power Reserve, announced on September 9, 2025. It is a 40mm hand-wound mechanical field watch with a new dial-side power-reserve indicator and Hamilton’s exclusive Caliber H-23. Swatch Group Japan states a maximum reserve of 80 hours; that figure is a manufacturer specification, not an independent test result.
What Hamilton announced in September 2025
The Hamilton Press Lounge headline describes the watch as “The 40mm Mechanical Field Watch features a new power reserve indicator and an exclusive movement.” The dated archive entry is September 9, 2025. In the detailed release issued by Swatch Group Japan on September 10, the movement is identified as hand-wound Caliber H-23, developed by ETA for Hamilton.
This is a single model announcement rather than a broad new Khaki Field generation. Hamilton’s archive places it after the April 15, 2025 Khaki Field Automatic expansion and the March 17, 2025 Khaki Field Quartz variations.
What is new about the Khaki Field Power Reserve?
An on-dial reserve display
The main visual change is an indicator at 9 o’clock. The Japanese release says it uses red detailing and marks the full and empty positions with “F” and “E.” The dial also states “power reserve 80 hours.” The display lets the wearer see the approximate remaining wind instead of relying only on elapsed time or a stopped watch.

Caliber H-23 and its stated reserve
Caliber H-23 is described as a hand-wound movement developed by ETA for Hamilton and presented as exclusive to this watch. Swatch Group Japan gives a maximum power reserve of up to 80 hours. For buyers who want a hand-wound field watch
The H-23 requires manual winding, but its stated 80-hour maximum reserve means it can run for more than three days when fully wound. The indicator at 9 o’clock is useful if you rotate watches or want to know whether winding is needed before wearing it.
