Is Apple Watch Series 10 still available to pre-order?
No. A pre-order reserves a product before its release; Series 10 was released in 2024. Ordering a unit shown in Apple’s store now is a regular purchase, while a Certified Refurbished purchase is a previously owned or returned watch inspected and sold by Apple under the terms shown for that listing.

What happened during the 2024 launch?
Apple announced Apple Watch Series 10 on September 9, 2024. Apple said pre-orders were available through its online store and Apple Store app, with retail availability beginning Friday, September 20, 2024. The U.S. launch price started at $399, and Apple listed availability in the United States and more than 49 other countries and regions.
Apple’s September 12 update repeated the online-store and app pre-order route and the September 20 store date. The two newsroom pages use “today” differently, so no precise opening hour can be established from those official pages.

How to buy Series 10 if Apple still shows stock
- Open Apple’s current Watch buying page and select Series 10 if it appears.
- Choose a 42mm or 46mm case, material and finish, GPS or GPS + Cellular, and a band and size.
- Check iPhone compatibility, carrier support for cellular models, final price, delivery estimate and nearby pickup inventory.
- Add AppleCare+ only after reviewing its current price, coverage, deductibles and enrollment deadline.
- Apply Apple Trade In if eligible. The displayed value is an estimate until Apple receives and evaluates the device.
- Sign in with an Apple Account, or use guest checkout if Apple offers it.
- Select delivery or Apple Store pickup, complete payment and save the confirmation.
- Track fulfillment in Apple’s order-status page or the Apple Store app. Exact finishes, bands and connectivity options may disappear as residual inventory changes.

- Back up the old watch, unpair it from the iPhone and erase it to remove Activation Lock.
- Unless you need immediate credit, wait to ship it until the new watch works.

The watch will not pair
Confirm the iPhone model and iOS version, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and ensure a used watch is no longer linked to another Apple Account. Activation Lock must be removed before pairing.
Cellular activation fails
Check carrier support, account eligibility, plan compatibility, regional model support and activation status. Carrier activation can be delayed even when the hardware is correct.
