Current status: You can no longer pre-order the Google Pixel Watch 3. Google opened pre-orders in August 2024, and the watch went on sale on September 10, 2024. You can check current stock and configuration-specific pricing on the Google Store purchase page; the Pixel Watch 4, announced in 2025, is the newer model.
Can you still pre-order the Pixel Watch 3?
No. The Pixel Watch 3’s pre-order period was in 2024. Google’s launch announcement said retail availability began September 10, 2024. The Google Store now offers a configuration and purchase flow, not a pre-order reservation. If a page still says “pre-order,” it may be old, cached, specific to a region, or describing a retailer’s own restock reservation.
If you want this watch now, check the live stock, delivery estimate and price for your destination on the Google Store page, or compare the terms at another seller. Google announced the newer Pixel Watch 4 on August 20, 2025, with retail availability from October 9, 2025; see Google’s Pixel Watch 4 announcement if you are weighing the latest model against a discounted Watch 3.
How the original 2024 pre-order worked
At launch, Google said customers could pre-order through the Google Store, Fitbit.com and select retailers and carriers. Those sellers did not necessarily offer the same configurations, delivery dates, trade-in values or promotional terms, so buyers had to confirm the specifics at the seller’s checkout.

- Open the seller’s official Pixel Watch 3 listing.
- Choose 41mm or 45mm, then select the available case finish and band.
- Choose Bluetooth/Wi-Fi or 4G LTE with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi.
- Review the delivery estimate, shipping address and payment method.
- Read any trade-in, financing or promotion terms, including requirements to activate or keep a carrier plan.
- Submit the order and save the confirmation email and order number.
- Check the order page for shipment updates or changes to the estimated delivery date.
Those are historical instructions, not a promise of launch promotions or launch-day delivery for a purchase today.
How to buy one now
On the Google Store configuration page, select the size, case and band combination, and connectivity option before comparing prices. Then enter your delivery ZIP code to see the current estimate. The store may also present trade-in and Pixel Care+ options; review their terms and final cost before adding the watch to your cart.
Google Store stock, displayed “from” prices and promotions can change. A starting price may apply only to one size and connectivity combination, so select the exact configuration before treating a price as comparable. Other retailers and carriers may have different stock, return policies, warranty terms and offers. A carrier discount may depend on a qualifying plan, new line, installment agreement or bill credits; read what happens to the credits if you cancel or pay off early.
Pixel Watch 3 launch prices
These are the original US launch prices announced by Google in 2024, not a statement of current pricing. Today’s price depends on the selected configuration, seller, stock and any active promotion.

Google’s announcement gives those launch prices. For a current quote, use the live configuration page and select every option; the page’s price and delivery estimate may change.
Choose between 41mm and 45mm
41mm: smaller case
The 41mm model is the more compact choice and may suit smaller wrists or buyers who prefer a less prominent case. Google lists a wrist fit range of approximately 130–210mm. Its display and battery are smaller than those of the 45mm version.

45mm: larger display and battery
The 45mm model has a larger display and battery and may be preferable if screen space or battery capacity matters more than a compact fit. Google lists it for wrists approximately 150–215mm around.
The fit ranges overlap, so measure your wrist but do not decide by measurement alone. Consider how the case looks and feels, whether the band sits comfortably, and whether you prefer the larger display. Check that any extra band you buy is compatible with the size you choose. Google lists the sizes and fit ranges on its product configuration page.

Bluetooth/Wi-Fi: keep the phone nearby
Choose Bluetooth/Wi-Fi if you generally carry your Android phone and do not need the watch to connect to cellular service on its own. It is the simpler, lower-priced configuration and avoids adding a watch line. Calls, texts and other connected functions rely more on the paired phone or a suitable Wi-Fi connection.
LTE: leave the phone behind
The LTE model can use cellular service for calls, texts, apps, music streaming and emergency functions when activated with a compatible carrier. The LTE hardware does not include cellular service: you must check carrier support and arrange activation, and fees or restrictions may apply. Google says full talk, text and data functionality requires the watch and companion Android phone to use the same carrier network. Check the supported carriers and country-specific conditions in Google’s Pixel Watch cellular-plan guidance before choosing LTE. A phone carrier’s support for your phone does not by itself establish that it supports Pixel Watch LTE.
Check compatibility before ordering
- Phone: Google says the Pixel Watch 3 works with most Android phones running Android 10.0 or newer. Pixel Watch models are not compatible with iPhones.
- Setup essentials: You need a Google Account, the Google Pixel Watch app, internet access and a compatible Android phone. See the official specifications and Google setup requirements.
- Size and band: Pick a case size that fits comfortably and confirm compatibility before ordering an extra band.
- LTE: Verify Pixel Watch 3 support with your carrier in your country, plus the plan and activation fees. A compatible phone alone is not enough.
- Checkout terms: Check delivery estimate, return window, warranty, trade-in inspection conditions, financing total and repayment terms. For carrier promotions, confirm any line, plan, bill-credit or service-retention requirements.
- Optional features: Do not assume every health, coaching or Fitbit-related feature is included without a subscription; check the terms for the specific feature.
Colors and band combinations
Google’s launch announcement listed these combinations. Actual availability can vary by region, seller, size and connectivity option, and the launch list does not mean every finish was offered with every configuration.
- 41mm: Matte Obsidian with Matte Black band; Polished Silver with Porcelain band; Champagne Gold with Hazel band; and Polished Silver with Rose Quartz band.
- 45mm: Obsidian, Porcelain and Matte Hazel combinations.
Set up the watch after delivery
Google’s setup guidance recommends pairing the watch with its Android phone through the Pixel Watch app. Keep the phone and watch charged and near each other while setup and updates finish.

- Charge the watch and phone. Turn on Bluetooth and allow location and nearby-device permissions on the phone; make sure it has internet access.
- Install or update the Google Pixel Watch app.
- Turn on the watch by holding the crown for about three seconds.
- Place the watch near the phone and follow the pairing prompt. If no prompt appears, open the Pixel Watch app manually.
- Check that the pairing code shown on the phone matches the code on the watch.
- Sign in to your Google Account and accept the terms.
- Select the country where the watch was purchased, then choose whether to restore a backup.
- Choose wrist and crown orientation.
- Set up the features you want, such as Fitbit, LTE, safety features, screen lock, Wallet, Gemini and apps.
- Allow the watch to update automatically before relying on it.

Troubleshoot pairing or LTE activation
If pairing fails
Work through Google’s recovery sequence before resorting to a factory reset, which erases watch data.
- Restart the watch: hold the crown for three seconds, then choose Restart.
- Check that Bluetooth, location, internet and nearby-device permissions are enabled on the phone.
- Update the Pixel Watch app, phone and watch.
- If needed, open the Pixel Watch app and choose System → Reset and unpair watch.
- Forget the watch in Android’s connected-device settings, then restart the phone and try pairing again.
- Use a factory reset only as a last resort. Google’s detailed steps are at Pixel Watch troubleshooting.
If LTE will not activate
First confirm that you bought the LTE model and that your carrier supports it in your country. Check the phone/watch carrier arrangement, internet access, Bluetooth, location and nearby-device permissions, and make sure the watch is updated. An old eSIM profile can also interfere with setup.
To inspect status, open Settings → Connectivity → Mobile → SIM status on the watch, or Connectivity → Mobile network in the Pixel Watch app. For a new plan, select the carrier setup option and follow its sign-in flow. Google’s troubleshooting guidance provides further recovery steps.
If an order is delayed or canceled
Check the seller’s order page for the latest status and keep the confirmation and promotion terms. If a trade-in or promotional credit is attached, contact the seller before canceling. Do not assume a delayed order keeps a promotion unless its written terms say so.
Is the Pixel Watch 3 worth buying now?
The Watch 3 is most compelling when its current price is meaningfully below the newer model and its Android and Fitbit features suit your needs. Google announced the Pixel Watch 4 in August 2025 and said its pricing remained the same as the Watch 3’s launch pricing, so compare the exact current configurations rather than relying on the old MSRP. If prices are close, the newer model is the more straightforward choice for someone who wants Google’s latest watch hardware.
For the Watch 3, choose Bluetooth/Wi-Fi if your phone is usually with you. Pay for LTE only if you will use the watch away from the phone and your carrier supports the watch on acceptable terms. Before checkout, compare the final configuration price, delivery date and any trade-in, protection or carrier promotion conditions.
