IFL Watches’ Citizen Tsuyosa Calavera collection consists of hand-painted customizations of Citizen Tsuyosa watches, not official Citizen releases. Its two named designs, Calavera Turquesa and Calavera Nocturna, share the same listed automatic movement and core specifications but differ in dial artwork and size. IFL’s product pages showed both as sold out when checked on October 4, 2026.
What is the Tsuyosa Calavera collection?
Calavera Turquesa and Calavera Nocturna are watches customized by IFL Watches using Citizen Tsuyosa bases. IFL says each watch was customized after its original retail purchase and that the original dial was modified or replaced. The colorful Calavera artwork is therefore an independent modification, rather than a factory Citizen dial.
That distinction is explicit in IFL’s Turquesa and Nocturna disclosures: IFL says its customization is not performed, authorized or endorsed by the original manufacturer. Citizen’s US Tsuyosa collection page provides context for the underlying watch family, including a 37 mm category, but does not make these custom editions official Citizen products.

Which size is likely to fit better?
Use the listed dimensions rather than the dial artwork to compare wrist fit. Turquesa’s 37 mm case and 41.9 mm lug-to-lug are smaller than Nocturna’s 40 mm case and 45.0 mm lug-to-lug. The lug-to-lug measurement—the distance from one end of the case to the other—can help indicate how much wrist area a watch spans. These figures do not establish how either watch will fit an individual wrist.

Because the dials were modified or replaced by a third party, these are not unmodified Citizen watches. IFL’s Nocturna page says the manufacturer warranty does not apply after third-party modification and describes a two-year IFL warranty covering dial installation, craftsmanship and functional performance. Review the current terms directly with IFL before purchase; the cited warranty detail is stated on the Nocturna listing, and should not be assumed to apply identically to Turquesa without confirmation.

IFL identifies itself as an independent customization studio and disclaims affiliation with or endorsement by watch brands. The product pages call the watches limited editions, but do not state a verified production quantity; no specific run size can be established from those listings.
