Its pages also differ on whether the movement drives a date display, so confirm that detail against the particular watch and its documentation.
What the JB300 Profonde × Deepsea.EDC is
Jacques Bianchi Marseille describes the Profonde as a collaboration with Deepsea.EDC, developed with feedback from Brock Stevens, whom the maker identifies as a U.S. Navy diver. The edition is limited to 150 individually numbered watches. The official product page says the watches are assembled in Marseille.
The maker frames the project around legibility, reliability, manageable weight, resistance to shocks and corrosion, and operation with gloves. Those are the design brief and product claims, not independently established performance results. The collaboration page says preorders opened October 30, 2025, with deliveries scheduled to begin January 5, 2026; that schedule alone does not establish that every order shipped on time. Case, fit and water resistance
The manufacturer lists a stonewashed Grade 5 titanium case measuring 41.5 mm across, 13 mm thick, and 44 mm from lug to lug, with a 20 mm lug width. Titanium is central to the watch’s stated low-weight brief, but the published page does not provide a case-weight figure.

Water resistance is specified as 300 m / 30 bar. This is the maker’s rating; the available information does not establish an independent water-resistance test or guarantee suitability for any particular dive setup. The flat sapphire crystal is described as reinforced, and the protected screw-down crown sits at 9 o’clock in a destro layout.
Dial, bezel and lume
The matte black Maxi Dial uses a yellow 24-hour scale. Jacques Bianchi connects the yellow detail to KM-37 diving helmets. The unidirectional bezel has 60 clicks and a luminous green pip, according to the official listing.

The maker specifies blue-emission hour markers and a green-emission minute hand and bezel pip. This color distinction is intended to separate indications at a glance; no independent legibility or lume-duration test is reported. Movement and the unresolved date question
The listed movement is a Swiss Soprod P024 automatic with 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 A/h (4 Hz), and a stated 38-hour power reserve. The official copy is inconsistent about the complication: one section lists hours, minutes, seconds and date, while other descriptions list hours, minutes and seconds, sometimes mentioning hacking seconds without a date.

Do not assume either configuration from the movement name or photographs. Confirm whether the specific watch has a date with Jacques Bianchi or consult its documentation before purchase.
Straps and package contents
Official listings describe a black Tropic rubber strap and a khaki JBM textile or webbing strap, but the page copy is not fully consistent about what is included in the package. Check the applicable product listing or confirm the contents with the seller rather than assuming both straps come with every watch.

How it differs from the standard JB300
The standard JB300 offers a useful family comparison, but its specifications should not be applied to the Profonde. Jacques Bianchi’s standard JB300 page describes a 42 mm 316L stainless-steel case, a crown at 3 o’clock and a black dial with green lume; the Profonde is specified with a 41.5 mm titanium case and crown at 9 o’clock.

What the published details establish—and what they do not
The specifications make the Profonde’s proposition clear: a compact-for-the-line titanium case, left-side crown, high-contrast dial and differentiated lume, with a maker-rated 300 m water resistance. They establish what Jacques Bianchi says it built, not how the watch performs in independent impact, corrosion, visibility or dive testing. The maker’s own succinct description, attributed on the product page to Simo Tber, is: “You don’t impose a watch on the sea, you put it to the test. The Profonde was born there, in its element, with clear needs and simple answers.”
