The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Chronograph Q389256J is the 2024, 250-piece limited edition in which the case, front dial, movement bridges, applied indexes and buckle are pink gold. Its reversible case gives it two distinct faces: a solid, engraved dial for telling time on the front and an open chronograph display on the back. Jaeger-LeCoultre lists the current US price as available upon request.
What makes the Q389256J different?
Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the full pink-gold configuration in 2024, after the Reverso Tribute Chronograph debuted in 2023 in steel and pink gold. The Q389256J is limited to 250 pieces, according to the manufacturer’s 2024 launch announcement. It is not simply a pink-gold case around a contrasting dial: the front dial, movement bridges, applied indexes and buckle are pink gold as well. The manufacturer specifies 18-carat (750/1000) pink gold for the case.
The watch is a modern interpretation of the Reverso Chronograph of 1996. Its defining difference from a conventional single-dial chronograph is that the case swivels to show a second face, with time displayed on both sides.
What is the difference between the front and back?
Front: time on a solid gold dial
The front is a time-only display on a solid pink-gold dial, finished with fine horizontal laser engraving. Applied indexes provide the hour markers. This restrained face keeps the chronograph mechanism out of view.

Reverse: an open chronograph display
Turn the case over to see the open-worked movement and chronograph indications. The reverse includes chronograph seconds and a retrograde 30-minute counter. Jaeger-LeCoultre describes the counter as transforming circular motion into a “come and go” display. The two faces therefore serve different visual purposes, while both show the time.

These are specifications published by Jaeger-LeCoultre, not independent measurements or test results. The 22 mm width does not by itself establish that every third-party strap will fit the watch’s shape or match its finish.

Is the Reverso Tribute Chronograph water resistant?
Jaeger-LeCoultre lists the Q389256J at 3 bar water resistance. That is the manufacturer’s stated rating; it should not be treated as confirmation that swimming or another particular water activity is appropriate. The cited product specification does not provide activity-specific guidance.

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s US product page currently gives the price as “available upon request.” This is the current official US listing, not a published price. At launch in 2024, Hodinkee reported a US price of $66,000, while Fratello reported €73,000 for Europe. Those are historical reports for separate regional markets; they are not current prices and should not be directly compared as though tax treatment were identical.
