The ring is titanium, comes in five finishes and sizes 6–14, and has a distinctive wave or ripple finish. Luna’s product page offers a sizing kit. Use it before ordering: a snug, comfortable fit matters, and sizing can differ between ring brands. The manufacturer lists 5 ATM water resistance, but that does not mean the ring tracks swimming workouts.
Sleep and recovery: the strongest use case
Sleep is the most consistent strength in the reviewed coverage, though reviewer comparisons are hands-on observations, not clinical validation. Wareable compared Luna with an Oura and Garmin Forerunner 970: sleep and wake timing were similar in its testing, while duration results differed by roughly 15–30 minutes depending on the night. Wareable also observed Luna reporting longer deep and REM sleep and more generous sleep scores.

Tech Advisor found sleep and readiness results broadly similar to an Oura Ring 4, but said Luna’s heart-rate readings tended to be generous and were not the most accurate. TechRadar described sleep tracking as improved over Gen 1 and viewed core sleep and recovery tracking positively, while noting that app presentation and competing products matter. These reports support considering Luna for wellness trends, not treating its numbers as medically established measurements.
Battery life and the charging case
Battery life varies by reviewer and test conditions, so the published results should not be treated as a guaranteed runtime. Luna’s up-to-five-day figure is a manufacturer claim reported by Wareable and Tech Advisor. Wareable recorded around four days with daily and nightly use; TechRadar reviewer Becca Caddy reported just under six days, and Tech Advisor reviewer Mike Sawh reported roughly five to six days.

Fit, comfort, and water resistance
Reviewer impressions of comfort are mixed rather than uniformly positive. The ring is light and titanium, but Wareable found its internal sensor bumps less unobtrusive than rival designs, and T3’s reviewer found it chunky on smaller fingers. Tech Advisor reported small scratches on its gold sample. The wave finish and sizing range may appeal to some buyers, but try the sizing kit and consider how the inner bumps feel before committing.
The manufacturer’s 5 ATM rating is specified as submersion to 50 metres, as reported by reviewers. Water resistance is not the same as swim tracking: Wareable says the ring can survive submersion but does not track water-based activities such as swimming. Remove smart rings for weightlifting or when handling objects that could damage the ring or create an injury risk, as Wareable recommends.
App, activity, and AI guidance
The app brings together sleep, readiness, activity, stress, and other measurements. Reviewers call out circadian-alignment guidance and a caffeine window as useful additions, but opinions on AI coaching are mixed: TechRadar found the advice generic, while Tech Advisor said generated plans were not especially personalized.

Activity features are better understood as general movement and wellness insight than training analysis. TechRadar notes there is no VO2 max estimate and says automatic workout detection covers walking and running, with basic logging for other exercises. T3 reports that some workouts required manual entry and that auto-detection did not always recognize activities. For detailed workout metrics, training load, or dependable exercise tracking, a dedicated sports watch is a better fit.
