The practical expectation is multi-day use for a typical owner, not a promise that every combination of settings will reach 90 hours. Continuous GPS workouts, an always-on AMOLED screen, frequent app use, and intensive sensor tracking can shorten runtime substantially. There is no single real-world runtime that applies to every owner.

Essential Mode trades features for endurance
Essential Mode is the source of the 45-day claim. It prioritizes basic timekeeping and selected fitness or health information over the full Wear OS experience. Mobvoi also describes a smart Essential Mode that can switch modes during scheduled periods, including sleep-related use, under specified conditions. That can help conserve power overnight, but it does not turn the 45-day figure into a normal-use estimate. Why the dual display saves battery
The Enduro pairs a 1.43-inch, 466 × 466 AMOLED display with an ultra-low-power secondary display and a manufacturer-specified 628mAh battery. The secondary display can show the time and selected information—such as steps, calories, blood oxygen, heart rate, battery status, and compass data—without keeping the full-color AMOLED active for every glance. During workouts, it can show selected live metrics, and its multicolor backlight can provide cues such as heart-rate zones in TicExercise.
This second screen is the central endurance feature, not just a cosmetic addition. The AMOLED remains useful for maps, apps, and rich notifications; the low-power display handles simpler information with less demand. It improves the watch’s ability to stretch a charge, but cannot eliminate the extra drain of keeping the brighter, more capable screen and other systems busy.
What drains the battery fastest?
Mobvoi does not publish a single runtime for every combination of features, so avoid treating any one setting as a guaranteed number of hours. The following demands can materially affect endurance:

If you need to stretch a charge, reduce screen brightness and wake-ups, review which health measurements run continuously, and reserve GPS-intensive tracking for the activities that need it. If battery life remains your priority above access to full smartwatch features, Essential Mode offers a more substantial trade-off than small setting changes.
Charging: useful for travel, but still a manufacturer claim
Mobvoi says 30 minutes of charging can provide roughly two days of use. That is a manufacturer claim whose result depends on conditions and usage, not a universal guarantee that a short charge will always cover two days. What else does the Enduro offer?
The Enduro is a full Wear OS watch with a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 platform, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Mobvoi lists Wear OS 3.5. It supports Google Play apps and services including Maps, Wallet, and YouTube Music, as well as notifications, messages, and calls. Google Calendar is not preloaded but can be downloaded from Google Play. NFC hardware does not guarantee that Google Wallet is available with every bank or in every country.
Its fitness and health features include 110+ workout modes, 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, blood-oxygen monitoring, VO2 Max estimates, recovery-time estimates, stress and sleep tracking, snoring detection, and one-tap measurement of several metrics. Mobvoi also describes heart-related notifications for tachycardia, bradycardia, premature beats, and AFib-related alerts. These are wellness and fitness functions, not medical diagnosis or treatment; Mobvoi explicitly says the health features are not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions. Is it suitable for hiking, swimming, and outdoor use?
Mobvoi specifies 5ATM water resistance, open-water swimming suitability, MIL-STD-810H durability, and support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou. The watch also has a compass, barometer, and sapphire crystal display. Its listed dimensions are 50.15 × 48.0 × 11.95mm, and its weight is 44.7g without the band; it takes a 24mm interchangeable strap. Those dimensions make wrist fit and overnight comfort worth considering, particularly if you prefer a compact watch.
5ATM is not permission to expose the watch to every kind of water activity. Mobvoi’s [FAQ](https://www.mobvoi.com/pages/faq) advises against hot water, soap, detergents, seawater, scuba diving, water skiing, deep water, and high-speed water activities. The MIL-STD-810H rating is a Mobvoi durability claim, not evidence here of independent military testing; sapphire is scratch-resistant, not indestructible.

The Enduro retains the Pro 5’s core battery approach and shares its Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 platform and 628mAh battery. It is a refinement rather than a new hardware generation. Its practical distinctions include sapphire crystal, a redesigned rotating crown and refined bezel and side-button design, snoring detection, and additional workout and fitness features. The main catch: Wear OS 3.5 and support uncertainty
Mobvoi lists Wear OS 3.5 for the Enduro. Do not assume it runs a newer Wear OS version: check the installed software on the specific watch and region you plan to buy. The Enduro requires an Android phone running Android 8.0 or later, with the original Google Play Store and Google Play services; Android Go devices are excluded. On August 16, 2026, Mobvoi’s US [collection page](https://www.mobvoi.com/collections/all) listed the Enduro at $349.99 and showed an “Add to cart” option; it also indicated promotional quantities had sold out and the listed price was the original price. At the same time, Mobvoi’s [regional product page](https://www.mobvoi.com/neu/products/ticwatchpro5enduro) showed the watch as unavailable. These are conflicting storefront signals, not proof of universal availability. Confirm stock and shipping to your location, and review current return and warranty terms at checkout before ordering.
Should you buy the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro?
It makes sense for an Android user who wants Wear OS apps but values multi-day endurance, sleep tracking, workouts, and outdoor features more than having the newest software platform. Its strongest case is the combination of a large battery and a secondary low-power display. The 90-hour Smart Mode figure is useful as an upper-bound manufacturer claim; it should not be the only reason to buy.
Look elsewhere if you use an iPhone, want the newest Wear OS features or a clearly established long-term update path, need cellular connectivity, or find a 50mm-class watch too large. It is also a poor choice if you expect the 45-day Essential Mode figure while using the watch as a full smartwatch, or intend to treat its health measurements as medical diagnoses. Before committing to the US listing price, compare current alternatives and verify the Enduro’s installed software, stock, shipping, warranty, and return terms.
