Orient’s Stretto 75th Anniversary Collection is a 2025 trio of limited-edition automatic watches: the Day & Night (2,500 pieces), Semi Skeleton (2,800 pieces), and Stretto Date (2,900 pieces). The collection introduces the new Stretto Contemporary platform, combining an urban, architectural dial design with a retro Orient logo and anniversary engraving. The central Date model is reference RA-AC0R04N.
What the Stretto collection represents
Orient says “stretto” comes from Italian musical terminology describing an accelerating tempo toward a climax. The watches express that idea through wedge-shaped indices, concentric architectural arcs, sunburst surfaces and mirror-polished reverse-R lugs. The Stretto is a new Contemporary Collection series introduced in 2025, rather than a reissue of an older model.
All three anniversary watches share a grey colour scheme, orange detailing around the hands and luminous indices, and the cursive Orient logo used by the brand roughly 75 years ago. Their exhibition casebacks are engraved with “Orient Since 1950 75th Anniversary” and an individual serial number. Each is supplied in a specially designed anniversary box.

The quantities are separate production limits, not a single 8,200-piece run. Epson Japan’s release notice allocated the Day & Night as 200 pieces for Japan and 2,300 overseas, the Semi Skeleton as 200 for Japan and 2,600 overseas, and the Date as 100 for Japan and 2,800 overseas. Those allocations describe the 2025 Japanese launch and do not guarantee current stock in any region.

These dimensions and movement specifications are manufacturer or official-retailer figures. A 38.5 mm diameter and 45.5 mm lug-to-lug length give the Date a relatively compact footprint, while its 20 mm lugs make replacement-strap shopping straightforward; any third-party strap remains an owner’s choice and is not an Orient endorsement.
How the design works on the wrist
Architectural dial treatment
The Stretto’s visual identity comes from the combination of wedge indices and repeated concentric arcs. The sunburst grey surface changes with the light, while orange accents provide a sharper contrast against the otherwise restrained palette. The reverse-R lugs are mirror polished, adding a bright edge to the case profile.

Anniversary details
The historical cursive logo is the clearest indication that this is a 75th-anniversary edition rather than an ordinary Stretto. The numbered exhibition back adds individuality, but the serial number does not make each watch a separately numbered model beyond its place within the limited production run.
Is the Stretto Date a practical everyday watch?
On paper, the Date is the least specialized of the three: it has a conventional date display, automatic winding with hand-winding and hacking, sapphire crystal and a steel bracelet. Its 50 m water-resistance rating is suitable for everyday splashes and routine wear, but it should not be treated as a dedicated diving watch. The approximately 40-hour reserve means it may stop after a weekend off the wrist, depending on when it was last fully wound.

Price and availability
Orient France displayed the RA-AC0R04N at €399 on October 1, 2026. Orient Watch USA displayed $360 for a regular Stretto Date and referenced the anniversary RA-AC0R04N30B variant. These are regional listings, and prices, references, inventory and seller status can change. Confirm the exact anniversary reference and current stock with the regional Orient retailer before buying.
For a precise search, use “Orient Stretto 75th Anniversary RA-AC0R04N automatic watch.” The Date’s documented 20 mm lug width also supports the generic search “20 mm replacement watch strap” when looking for alternatives, without implying that any particular third-party product is supplied or approved by Orient.
What has not been independently established
The available specifications and edition counts come from Orient, Epson Japan or official regional retail listings. No independent hands-on review, long-term accuracy measurement or owner-experience study establishes how the watch performs over time. Treat the approximately 40-hour reserve, 50 m rating and other figures as published specifications rather than independent test results.
