What are the five new Panerai Submersible Luna Rossa models?

How do the references differ in size, material, and function?
Largest and most complicated: PAM01405
At 45mm, the Carbotech PAM01405 is the largest of the five. Its hand-wound P.2015/T adds a tourbillon and GMT function, plus a power-reserve indication; it is also the only skeletonized-dial model. Its stated water resistance is 300m.

44mm Ti-Ceramitech: PAM01466 and PAM01543
These two 44mm automatic watches share the P.900 movement and 500m stated water resistance. Their principal visible distinction is the dial: sunburst blue on PAM01466 and grainy white on PAM01543.
42mm steel and titanium: PAM01565 and PAM01507
PAM01565 pairs a stainless-steel case with a blue-to-black dial and is a three-hand P.900 model with 300m water resistance. PAM01507 uses titanium, adds a GMT function through the P.900/GMT24H, and is rated to 500m. The smaller case size does not mean the two share the same complication or water-resistance rating.

What is Ti-Ceramitech?
Ti-Ceramitech is Panerai’s case material used for PAM01466 and PAM01543. The brand describes it as combining titanium’s lightness with ceramic’s resistance. Panerai says the material is 44% lighter than steel, twice as hard as steel, and ten times more fracture-resistant than traditional ceramic. Those are Panerai’s claims; the sources cited here do not establish independent testing of those figures.
Panerai’s official brand history says the company agreed to sponsor Luna Rossa in 2019 and create watches with the team. It presents Ti-Ceramitech as drawing on America’s Cup technologies and input from Luna Rossa, and situates the collection ahead of the 37th America’s Cup.

What did the watches cost at launch?
Fratello’s 2024 launch coverage reported €16,900 for each Ti-Ceramitech model, €11,500 for PAM01565, and €12,500 for PAM01507. PAM01405 was listed as price on request. These are reported launch prices, not current regional retail prices or evidence of present availability. The report also described PAM01405 as a 20-piece edition, PAM01565 as a 300-piece edition, and PAM01565 as exclusive to Panerai’s webshop at launch; those details do not establish current production or sales status.
