The Rolex Shanghai Masters runs October 5–18, 2026, with qualifying on October 5–6 and the singles main draw scheduled for October 7–18. The draw was due to be made on October 5 at 10:30 a.m. China Standard Time; as of October 4, the official draw page had no matchups posted. The event is an ATP Masters 1000 tournament played on outdoor hard courts at Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena. The announced finals date is October 18, but the daily schedule was not yet available.
When is the 2026 Rolex Shanghai Masters?
The full event period is October 5–18. Qualifying is scheduled for October 5–6, and the singles main draw is scheduled for October 7–18. The Shanghai Municipal Government lists the singles main-draw start as October 7 and both finals on October 18. The distinction explains why some official listings give October 5–18 while the ATP preview describes the Masters 1000 main-draw period as October 7–18.
The government’s announcement gives October 18 as the planned finals date, with play starting at 2 p.m. China Standard Time. However, the ATP preview also contains a conflicting line that places the singles final on October 12. Since the tournament’s stated dates run through October 18 and the official daily schedule was not posted on October 4, treat the final-session details as pending confirmation. Check the official schedule for updates.
When is the draw, and where can I find the schedule?
The ATP’s October 3 preview said the draw was scheduled for Monday, October 5 at 10:30 a.m. China Standard Time. The official draw page showed no matches on October 4, so there were no confirmed matchups available at that time. The official site’s draw page is the place to check for pairings, while the schedule page carries the order of play once published. Do not treat player names in a preview as a confirmed draw.
