The Seiko Presage Cocktail Time STAR BAR SRE015 is the compact watch in Seiko’s 2024 STAR BAR limited-edition release. Its stainless-steel case measures 30.3 mm across, with a 37.0 mm lug-to-lug span, and its textured, gray-gradient dial takes its design cue from “Night-time Tokyo.” Seiko also lists the reference as SRE015J1 on regional product pages; that is the same model designation used for this watch.
What is the Seiko SRE015?
SRE015 is a Presage Cocktail Time STAR BAR Limited Edition. Seiko’s regional product pages style the reference as SRE015J1, while its launch announcement pairs the SRE015 with the larger SRPK93 as two watches inspired by Tokyo at night. Seiko announced the SRE015 for availability in October 2024; that launch timing does not establish present-day stock.
The design references “Night-time Tokyo,” a STAR BAR original cocktail by Hisashi Kishi, whom Seiko identifies as the Ginza bar’s head bartender. Seiko describes a patterned dial with a lighter gray gradation toward the center, set against gold-colored hands and indexes. The SRE015 also has a box-shaped Hardlex crystal with inner facets that Seiko says evoke the light of skyscrapers.

The 6,000-piece figure is the announced production edition size; by itself, it does not establish current scarcity or resale value. The 5 bar rating is Seiko’s stated specification and should not be treated here as a recommendation for any particular water activity.
How large is the SRE015, and how might it fit?
At 30.3 mm in diameter and 37.0 mm lug-to-lug, the SRE015 has compact stated dimensions. Its thickness is 11.0 mm. Compare those measurements with a watch you already wear, or try the SRE015 on in person: wrist shape and personal preference affect how a watch feels, so the dimensions alone cannot determine fit. Seiko lists a bracelet length of 175.0 mm, but that figure does not confirm fit for an individual wrist.

The 14 mm lug distance may be useful when considering a strap, but it does not confirm that a particular aftermarket strap will fit correctly or suit the case. Bracelet adjustment may be needed; a Seiko retailer or qualified watchmaker can advise on sizing.
Is SRE015J1 the same as SRE015?
Yes. Seiko’s regional product pages use SRE015J1 for this STAR BAR watch, while the announcement and some product references use SRE015. The regional suffix is a designation variation on the same model, not evidence of a different watch in this release. The companion watch is SRPK93, a separate, larger model.

How does the SRE015 compare with the SRPK93?
Seiko presented both as size options in its 2024 STAR BAR release. The available official announcement gives the following comparison points; it does not provide the SRPK93’s detailed dimensions here.

Both references draw on the “Night-time Tokyo” concept, but their movements and announced edition sizes differ. The SRPK93’s exact dimensions and price are not established by the cited release, so compare its official local product listing before choosing between the two on fit or cost.

Is the SRE015 a limited edition?
Yes. Seiko announced an edition of 6,000 SRE015 watches. The company says each has a numbered caseback marked “Limited Edition” and comes with a special limited-edition box. These details can help identify a complete example, but they do not independently verify a seller’s listing or establish what the watch is worth.
