The Seiko Prospex HBB006K1 is listed by Seiko Boutique Malaysia as a 1,200-piece Thong Sia Group limited edition. Regional retailer and watch-publication coverage calls it “Blue Tears” and describes availability across Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia and Brunei. The model’s specifications and Malaysia price appear on the boutique listing; the nickname, territory and Singapore price come from retailer or specialist reporting, not the Seiko corporate release cited here.
What is the Seiko Prospex HBB006 “Blue Tears”?
Seiko Boutique Malaysia identifies the reference as HBB006K1 and labels it a “Thong Sia Group Limited Edition (1,200 pieces).” City Chain’s Singapore listing uses the name “Blue Tears,” while watch publication Deployant also uses that nickname. Regional coverage commonly shortens the reference to HBB006.
That distinction matters: Seiko’s official 145th-anniversary announcement dated May 14, 2026 covers the separate references HBC005 and HBB001. It does not establish HBB006K1 or the Blue Tears nickname. HBB006K1 should not be confused with HBB001 simply because the model references look similar. Seiko’s announcement concerns those other anniversary editions.

City Chain describes a blue dial, stainless-steel bracelet supplied with an additional dark navy silicone strap, one-way rotating bezel, screw-down crown and date display. These details are from that retailer’s listing, rather than the Seiko Malaysia specification summary. Deployant’s October 1, 2026 report describes a deep-blue sunray dial and matching blue bezel.
Edition size, reported territory and release timing
Seiko Boutique Malaysia’s listing and Deployant both give an edition size of 1,200 pieces. Deployant’s October 1, 2026 report describes the watch as an October 2026 release and says availability is limited to Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia and Brunei. Treat that territory and timing as specialist reporting: the official Seiko release cited above does not confirm HBB006K1.
