What hardware does Bangle.js 2 have?
Bangle.js 2 pairs a modest, low-power processor with a touchscreen and a broad set of sensors. Its specifications, according to the official technical documentation, are:
- 64 MHz Nordic nRF52840 ARM Cortex-M4 processor, with 256 kB RAM, 1,024 kB on-chip flash, and 8 MB external flash.
- 1.3-inch, 176 × 176-pixel, always-on 3-bit colour LCD with full touchscreen and one side button.
- GPS/GLONASS, heart-rate monitor, three-axis accelerometer, three-axis magnetometer, and air-pressure/temperature sensor.
- Bluetooth Low Energy and a vibration motor.
- 175 mAh battery; 36 × 43 × 12 mm body; standard 20 mm strap width.
The display is lower-resolution and less colour-rich than many conventional smartwatch screens, but the always-on display and physical button provide straightforward access to the watch’s own apps. GPS, motion, compass, heart-rate, and pressure/temperature hardware give developers sensor data to work with.

How long does Bangle.js 2 battery last?
Espruino’s technical documentation gives Bangle.js 2 a four-week standby figure. That is a standby estimate, not a promise of four weeks of active use. GPS, frequent screen updates, sensor sampling, vibration, Bluetooth activity, and app workload all affect runtime; the documentation does not establish one universal active-use duration.
Is Bangle.js 2 waterproof?
Bangle.js 2 is rated IP67, which Espruino positions for everyday use, not swimming or baths. Do not treat that rating as permission to wear it for swimming or bathing. Water resistance can also be affected by wear or damage to the watch.

What is the difference between Bangle.js 1 and Bangle.js 2?
Bangle.js 1 is discontinued, while Bangle.js 2 is the current successor. The models differ in screen, processor, water rating, battery capacity, and body dimensions; the capacities are not direct battery-life comparisons.

Bangle.js 1’s larger battery capacity does not by itself establish longer real-world battery life. The two models have different hardware, and the cited specifications do not provide a directly comparable active-use test.

What straps fit Bangle.js 2?
Bangle.js 2 uses standard 20 mm watch straps, according to its official technical specification. A generic replacement band described as 20 mm wide is the clearest compatible option. Before buying, confirm that the listing specifies the lug width and attachment style; a stated width alone does not verify every strap’s fitting hardware.
Where can you buy Bangle.js 2?
The official Espruino product page showed a price indication of “From £83” when checked in 2026; it also listed a £71 volume price. Those are time-sensitive shop figures, and the volume price is not the standard single-unit price. Check the official product page for current pricing, stock, currency, and distributor availability.
