The Indian Express attributed the retail figure to Karan Vaidya of luxury jeweller Rose and noted that the secondary-market price could be higher. Esquire India also described the watch as a Grand Complication and gave an approximate USD 2.5 million value, but did not provide the same precise reference.
The reference is not settled by these accounts: The Indian Express names a Patek Philippe Grand Complications 6300G, while Esquire India does not specify a reference. Treat the 6300G identification as attributed reporting, not an independently confirmed identification. The retail figure is also not interchangeable with a secondary-market estimate.

Other models listed in coverage
Hindustan Times, citing retailer Kapoor Watch, also lists a Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5968A, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26401PO and a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5811/1G with rupee figures. Those values are retailer-reported figures repeated by the newspaper; they should not be read as verified current market prices. The figures are not reproduced here because the available reporting does not establish them as current or transaction prices.
A character’s watch is not proof of Khan’s personal collection
Esquire India identifies a Konstantin Chaykin Dracula Joker in a teaser for King, worn by Khan’s character. That is evidence of a watch associated with the film’s character, not evidence that Khan personally owns the piece. Esquire’s description says the Dracula time indication adds 16 parts to the Joker-indication module, bringing the movement’s total to 77 components. The report does not provide a price that can be treated here as an attributed valuation.

How much is Shah Rukh Khan’s watch collection worth?
Bollywood Hungama estimated the overall collection at more than ₹115 crore in a feature published January 26, 2026. It gives examples including a Patek Philippe 5303/301R minute repeater at about ₹35 crore, a Richard Mille RM 052 at about ₹13 crore, a Patek Philippe 5271/11P-010 at about ₹5.5 crore, a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980/60G-001 at about ₹3.5 crore and a Rolex Daytona 12676TBVR at about ₹2.5 crore.
These are Bollywood Hungama’s estimates; the feature supplies no valuation methodology. No independent appraisal or confirmed transaction total for Khan’s entire collection is established in the cited coverage. The total should therefore be understood as that outlet’s estimate, not a definitive measure of the watches he owns or their current value.

Why the reported prices differ
- Retail and resale are different measures. The Met Gala story attributes a retail figure to Rose and separately notes that the secondary-market value may be higher. A retail valuation is not a sale record.
- Media estimates are snapshots. The cited amounts appeared in stories tied to specific events and publication dates. They do not establish what a watch would cost today.
- Some identifications are uncertain. The Met Gala Patek Philippe reference differs between reports, and Esquire India’s naming for the Jules Audemars watch is not fully consistent between its heading and description.
