The Spinnaker Fleuss Automatic Seconde/Seconde/ 2025 Edition is a limited collaboration with Paris-based watch artist Romaric André, known as Seconde/Seconde/. It comes in two versions: the 40 mm Phantom Steel (SP-5170-11A-P) and the 43 mm Phantom White (SP-5170-11B-P). The key differences are case size, fit dimensions, movement and listed price; Spinnaker’s official pages showed both sold out when checked on October 4, 2026.
What are the two versions?
Both watches use a phantom-procession dial concept, with additional concealed design details and a collaboration-specific rotor. Their names refer to distinct sizes and finishes, not interchangeable dial options.

Which size is more likely to fit?
The 40 mm model is the more compact option, with a 47 mm lug-to-lug measurement; the 43 mm case stretches to 51 mm lug-to-lug and is also 1 mm thicker. Lug-to-lug length can be especially useful when assessing whether the ends of a watch will extend beyond the wrist. Spinnaker’s broad guidance places 40–42 mm watches in its medium band for 6–7.5-inch wrists and 43–45 mm watches in its large band for 7.5–8 inches or more. What movements do they use?
Spinnaker names different automatic movements for the two references. Its product pages list the following manufacturer-stated specifications; they are not independent performance tests.

The instruction manual describes the watch as self-winding and battery-free, with the option to wind it manually. That explains the basic operating principle, but it does not establish real-world accuracy or a tested power reserve. See the official instruction manual.

What comes with the watch, and what are the shared specifications?
Both official variant listings specify a stainless-steel case and bracelet, a sapphire lens with anti-reflective coating, screw-down crown, luminous printed indices, date display, 15 ATM water resistance, an additional white nylon strap and a two-year international warranty. The bracelet widths differ by size: 20 mm on the 40 mm model and 22 mm on the 43 mm model. Check end-link and attachment compatibility before buying any replacement strap; nominal width alone does not establish fit.
Spinnaker Japan’s Batch No.2 feature page gives further design details: a sapphire display caseback, phantom-shaped rotor, wavy bezel, three lume colors, 47 visible dial phantoms and three hidden elsewhere. It also describes a quick-release bracelet and a supplied luminous nylon strap. These additional descriptions come from the Japan-market feature page, rather than the English variant listings. The stated 15 ATM rating is a manufacturer specification. The cited listings do not establish independent dive testing or a real-world depth recommendation.
How limited was Batch No.2?
Spinnaker Japan states that its Batch No.2 quantities were 938 pieces for the 40 mm SP-5170-11A-P and 709 pieces for the 43 mm SP-5170-11B-P. Those figures apply to the Japan-market Batch No.2 feature; they should not be read as global production totals. The page gives a Japanese preorder start date of June 5, 2026, and a release date of June 19, 2026. Separately, Spinnaker’s US/English edition page described Batch No.2 delivery as scheduled for May 2026. These are different regional schedules, not one shared release date. Is it still available?
On October 4, 2026, Spinnaker’s official edition page said the final preorder batch had closed, and both the 40 mm and 43 mm product pages showed sold out. The official listings showed $525 for Phantom Steel and $475 for Phantom White at that time. Stock status can change, and those listings do not establish availability at retailers or on the secondary market. Check the official edition page for any later update.
