What is the Studio Underd0g 01SERIES Gen 3?
Studio Underd0g identifies the 01SERIES as the third generation of its best-known watch line. It is a manually wound chronograph, with a playful dial design and a 38.5 mm stainless-steel case. The official Watermel0n product page labels it “01SERIES / Chronograph” and “Ø38.5mm • Manual • Gen3.”
The Watermel0n is the original watermelon-dial design. Other named Gen 3 variants are Go0fy Panda, with a silver-and-black panda-style dial; Desert Sky, in blue and sand tones; and Mint Ch0c Chip, with mint-green colouring and chocolate subdials. The official Watermel0n listing links to the other three, but that does not establish their current stock or prices.
What changed from Gen 2?
Studio Underd0g says it slimmed the mid-case, reducing overall thickness from 13.6 mm to 12.9 mm. The company also describes a thicker crown intended to support smooth winding, a re-tooled dial bearing an “Assembled in Great Britain” mark, and a larger sapphire exhibition crystal for a better view of the movement. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions of the changes, not independent comparative findings.

The update retains the 38.5 mm case diameter. The Watermel0n page gives a 44.5 mm lug-to-lug measurement, so those dimensions—alongside the 12.9 mm thickness—are useful starting points when judging fit.

The maker says its watches are assembled fully in-house in Great Britain, each by one pair of hands, and that the assembler’s initials appear on the accompanying paperwork.

How the manual chronograph movement is specified
The ST-1901B is the mechanical centre of the update. Studio Underd0g says it was developed with Seagull and is exclusive to the brand. The published power reserve differs according to chronograph use: 50 hours with the chronograph stopped and 45 hours while it is running. The brand also lists a clockwise winding system and a beat rate of 21,600 per hour.
For accuracy, the Watermel0n page gives a maker-stated regulation range of -10 to +15 seconds per day. That figure should be understood as the company’s specification, not as the result of an independent test of every watch.

Price, ordering and return terms
The UK Watermel0n listing displayed a price of £600 and an add-to-cart option when checked on 29 September 2026. That is a time- and region-specific storefront observation, not a guaranteed price for other variants or markets. The same page listed optional Milanese mesh for £75 and leather straps for £95; check the current listing for the exact configuration and price.
The product page says watch orders ship free. Its stated customs treatment varies by destination: EU and most rest-of-world orders are DDU, while US orders are described as DDP. Import charges and handling depend on destination, so use the current checkout terms to establish what applies to your order.

Studio Underd0g’s FAQ says a return may be requested within 14 days of receipt if the watch remains perfect and unused. Trying it on or fastening the strap means it is no longer considered unused. The listed return-shipping deductions are £10 for UK returns and £30 for returns from the US, EU and rest of world.

The watch uses a 20 mm strap that tapers to 16 mm, with quick-release spring bars. When buying a replacement, check not just the lug width but also the taper, buckle dimensions and spring-bar compatibility. A nominally 20 mm strap may not match every detail of the supplied strap.

Delugs also identifies 20 mm as the strap size for the 01 and 03 Series and says its straps can be paired with Studio Underd0g watches. That is a stated size match, not a guarantee that every strap model will suit the watch’s taper or buckle requirements.
Warranty and servicing
The brand’s FAQ states a two-year warranty from receipt covering mechanical faults, with service or repair arranged free where applicable. Accidental damage and general wear and tear are excluded. Opening, inspecting or regulating the watch through an independent watchmaker or third-party service centre voids the remaining Studio Underd0g warranty; the company asks owners to contact its service team before arranging work.
D0ghouse and the Guava variant
Studio Underd0g’s D0ghouse page describes its Maidenhead location as a workshop, showroom and assembly-experience venue. Showroom visits are by appointment. The brand says the assembly experience lets visitors build a 01SERIES watch with team guidance, and that the 01SERIES Guava is available only to D0ghouse visitors or assembly-experience participants.
The FAQ estimates the assembly experience at around three to four hours, including a lunch break, and limits sessions to four people. Showroom appointments are about 45 minutes.

The four named dials offer visibly different treatments: Watermel0n’s original fruit-inspired colours, Go0fy Panda’s silver and black, Desert Sky’s blue and sand, and Mint Ch0c Chip’s mint and chocolate. The official listing establishes those variant links, but the full specification and £600 price cited here belong specifically to Watermel0n. Before choosing another dial, check its individual page for current stock, price and any model-specific details.
