Zales identifies reference T091.420.44.051.00 as a titanium, black-dial model with analog and digital displays and a range of outdoor and timekeeping functions. Treat those details as listing claims, and check the exact reference and its manual before buying or relying on a feature.

What does “hands-on” mean here?
This is a reference-based review, not a report of personal wear or testing. No hands-on measurements, timing trials, calibration checks, or direct comparisons are established for this article. A separate video review by Preben Ven was published on December 8, 2015, but it reflects that reviewer’s content, not firsthand testing for this review: Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar Watch Review.

How is the Expert Solar different from the T-Touch Connect Solar?
The T-Touch Connect Solar is a separate, newer family. Tissot’s current page for model T1214204705107 describes a 47.5 mm case, 15.3 mm thickness, 10 bar water resistance, tactile sapphire, solar tactile quartz movement, and functions including compass, altimeter, barometer, temperature, and weather trend. Those figures and functions belong to that Connect Solar model, not to the Expert Solar reference reviewed here.
Tissot also maintains separate manual categories for Connect Solar and T-Touch Expert watches. Do not use Connect Solar dimensions, connected functions, sensor menus, or calibration instructions as specifications or operating guidance for the Expert Solar.

Where can you find the correct manual and service guidance?
Tissot’s US customer-service page provides access to user manuals and service resources, including a T-Touch Expert manual category. Select documentation that matches the exact reference where possible. The available material does not establish the Expert Solar’s model-specific instructions for sensor calibration, charging, water-resistance maintenance, or accumulator replacement; for those questions, consult the correct manual or contact an authorized Tissot service centre.
Tissot’s published calibration page is specifically for the Connect Solar. It covers that family’s calibration topics, including compass magnetic declination and geographic settings for barometer and altimeter. It should not be treated as confirmed procedure for the Expert Solar.
