Its current listing specifies 5 ATM water resistance and a Miyota 9039 automatic movement; those details differ from some launch-era figures reported in Time+Tide’s November 2022 review. Trafford’s newer Crossroads S is a separate, hand-wound model with its own specifications.
What is the Trafford Crossroads?
The Crossroads is Trafford Watch Co.’s time-only watch, designed around a square case whose profile curves across the top like a horizon. Trafford connects that curve with significant moments and new opportunities. Fergus Nash’s 2022 Time+Tide review reads the design through an Austin, Texas lens, noting its Americana cues and numerals reminiscent of hand-painted road signs.
The original launch collection used four regionally evocative dial names: Agave, Cabernet, Bluebonnet and Mockingbird. Nash wrote that “The name of the watch is a reference to Trafford’s overarching goal for the brand, which is for each watch to mark a special time or decision in its owner’s life.” Time+Tide’s November 21, 2022 review describes the original launch and its design context.
Original Crossroads dimensions and specifications
Trafford’s current official listing for the original Crossroads gives these specifications. Its comparison to a 40 mm round watch is the brand’s own sizing description, not an independent wrist-fit assessment.

These figures are from Trafford’s official original Crossroads listing. The 20 mm lug width gives a useful starting point when looking for a replacement strap, but it does not prove that every third-party strap will fit: check the strap’s attachment and case-end shape. The listing also describes a Crossroads-specific steel bracelet with a deployant clasp, three micro-adjustment holes, a half-link and screw-in links; resizing tools are included.
Movement: launch-era claims versus the current listing
The original Crossroads had two movement options at launch, according to Time+Tide’s 2022 review. Trafford’s current official listing for the original model specifies the Miyota automatic only. Keep the launch review’s figures separate from the present listing rather than treating them as a single set of specifications.

The differences in the Miyota reserve and regulation figures reflect what the two sources report at different times; the available information does not explain why they differ. The current original-model specification is on Trafford’s Crossroads listing; the two launch options are covered in Time+Tide’s 2022 review.
Original Crossroads and Crossroads S: different watches
Crossroads S is not simply the original watch with an updated specification sheet. Trafford’s official listing describes a hand-wound Sellita SW-210 movement, a thinner case and higher water resistance. The comparison below separates the current official listing details for the two models.

Trafford’s Crossroads S listing showed an estimated early Q4 2026 shipping window when accessed in 2026; that estimate and the displayed price may change. The original model’s price and sold-out status are from its official listing reviewed in 2026. The table reports listing information, not a guarantee of current stock or a confirmed delivery date.

Time+Tide reported launch prices of US$399 for the quartz version and US$499 for the automatic version in 2022. Those are historical launch prices, not current offers. The current official original-model listing displayed $649 and marked the selected variant sold out. Trafford’s collection page also listed several original Crossroads seasons and editions as sold out. The newer Crossroads S listing displayed $899 and marked its shown variant sold out.
