Xiaomi rates it for up to 21 days, although demanding settings can reduce that to about six to nine days. It has no built-in GPS, speaker, microphone or universal NFC, so it suits phone-connected activity tracking—not phone-free running or smartwatch duties.
Marketplace prices observed on August 18, 2026 ranged from $51.50 to $51.99 in US listings, while TechRadar’s launch-era US price was $73.99. Treat those as dated market signals: region, edition, importer, seller and promotion materially change the price.
What is the Xiaomi Smart Band 10?
The Smart Band 10 is a fitness tracker rather than a full smartwatch. It records activity, workouts, heart rate, blood oxygen and sleep; shows notifications; runs watch faces and basic utilities; and stores some activity data when your phone is not nearby. For route and distance tracking, however, it relies on the connected phone’s location services because it has no onboard GPS.
It does not offer cellular connectivity, onboard maps, independent navigation, wrist-based calling, a voice assistant or a general app ecosystem. The standard band is compatible with Android and iPhone through Xiaomi’s Mi Fitness app.

These specifications come from Xiaomi’s official regional page (Xiaomi specifications). Retail databases are not always reliable: Smartprix has displayed Bluetooth 5.3 and IP67 in parts of its listing, conflicting with Xiaomi’s Bluetooth 5.4 and 5ATM specifications. Xiaomi’s page also gives the authoritative 212 × 520 resolution; other catalog entries showing values such as 430 × 490 appear to be listing errors.
Prices and availability
There is no single meaningful worldwide price for the Smart Band 10. TechRadar’s launch-era table listed $73.99 in the US, £39.99 in the UK and AU$133 in Australia. On pages observed August 18, 2026, Smartprix showed $51.50 attributed to Amazon and Notebookcheck showed a $51.99 Amazon price, alongside a €50 European list price. The US figures may represent marketplace or import stock rather than an official local Xiaomi distribution channel.
Before buying, check the exact SKU, edition, seller location, warranty and return policy. Imported Chinese or regional models can differ in NFC, firmware, account-region behavior, colors and payment support. A lower listing price is not necessarily a better deal if shipping, returns or warranty coverage are weak. Example marketplace listings include Smartprix and Walmart.
Standard, NFC, Ceramic and Glimmer editions
Standard edition
The standard model uses an aluminum-alloy frame and TPU strap. Xiaomi’s UAE page lists Midnight Black, Glacier Silver and Mystic Rose, with a 15.95g body and 135–210mm wrist range.

Ceramic Edition
The Ceramic Edition replaces the metal frame with ceramic and uses a fluororubber strap. Xiaomi lists Pearl White; the body is 23.05g and slightly larger. Its premium material changes the look and feel more than the tracking hardware. TechRadar reported the tested Ceramic strap clasp coming undone, so check security before exercise and replace the strap if it does not hold reliably.
Glimmer Edition
Glimmer uses an aluminum-alloy frame with a stainless-steel and glass-crystal strap construction. Xiaomi lists Glimmer Gold, a 16.25g body and a smaller 135–180mm supported wrist range.
NFC versions
NFC is not universal. Xiaomi’s Taiwan specifications page lists a separate Xiaomi Smart Band 10 NFC model, confirming that regional versions differ (Taiwan specifications). “NFC” on the product name does not guarantee that payments work in your country. Confirm all of the following before ordering:
- The exact model number or SKU.
- That the listing explicitly says NFC.
- Compatibility with the payment service used in your country.
- Mi Fitness account region and firmware support.
- Seller warranty for the imported version.
Display and design
The 1.72-inch AMOLED panel is the band’s clearest hardware upgrade over the Band 9. Its 212 × 520 resolution, narrower symmetrical bezels, automatic brightness and reported 60Hz operation make notifications and workout screens easier to read than on many narrow bands. Always-on display is supported.

Xiaomi advertises up to 1,500 nits in high-brightness mode. Notebookcheck measured approximately 980 nits under its laboratory conditions. Those figures are not necessarily contradictory: high-brightness ratings, automatic mode, ambient light, measurement equipment and test procedures differ. Notebookcheck also detected 60Hz PWM flicker at some brightness levels; susceptible users may experience eyestrain or headaches, but that finding is not a universal medical effect.
The standard body is exceptionally light at 15.95g without its strap. Ceramic is heavier and marginally larger, while Glimmer’s smaller wrist range matters for users with narrow wrists.
Health and fitness tracking
The optical sensors support heart-rate and blood-oxygen readings, while Mi Fitness presents sleep stages, sleep efficiency estimates, stress monitoring, activity goals, calories and time in motion. Xiaomi and independent reviews describe more than 150 sports modes, selected automatic workout recognition and training features such as training effect, training load, recovery time and vitality score.
Swimming and workouts
For pool sessions, the band can record stroke style, laps, strokes, SWOLF and average speed. The compass, accelerometer and gyroscope support orientation and movement tracking. These features make it more capable than a basic step counter, although it remains below dedicated sports watches for route-independent training and advanced analysis.

Accuracy limits
Notebookcheck found heart-rate and blood-oxygen readings close to reference devices in its tested scenarios, but identified weaknesses in sleep-onset and sleep-stage recognition. Results vary with fit, skin contact, movement, activity type and individual physiology. These are wellness estimates, not medical measurements; do not use SpO₂ or heart-rate readings to make urgent medical decisions.
Battery life and charging
The 233mAh battery and magnetic charger are rated by Xiaomi for up to 21 days of typical use and approximately one hour to charge. That is a light-to-moderate-use claim, not a guarantee.

Brightness, always-on display, notification volume, automatic workout detection, workout recording, sleep monitoring, health-measurement frequency and Bluetooth activity all affect runtime. Buyers who want the longest interval between charges should leave always-on display off and moderate continuous measurements.
GPS, NFC, notifications and calls
GPS
There is no built-in GPS. Outdoor routes and distance depend on the phone’s location services, so it works well for gym sessions, walks and runs where carrying a phone is acceptable. It is a poor choice for phone-free running, cycling or hiking.

NFC and payments
Only some regional editions include NFC, and the payment service must also support that region and firmware. Verify the hardware and service separately rather than assuming every “Smart Band 10” has contactless payments.
Notifications
Mi Fitness can mirror selected phone notifications. Long messages are shortened, images are not shown, emoji support is limited and the band cannot send replies. App-by-app notification controls are available in Mi Fitness.
Calls and voice control
The band can alert you to incoming calls but cannot conduct a wrist conversation: independent testing found no speaker or microphone. Notebookcheck also reported no voice assistant on its tested unit.

Xiaomi lists Android 8.0 or later and iOS 14.0 or later, with Mi Fitness required for setup and control. Notebookcheck described Health, Training, Device and Profile sections and integrations including Google Health Connect, Strava and Suunto. Menus and integrations can vary by country, account region, Android versus iOS, firmware, app version and imported hardware, so do not assume every market has identical options.

TechRadar characterized the Band 10 as a modest, incremental update rather than a complete redesign. If the Band 9 is heavily discounted and you do not need the larger screen, the older model may offer better value; the Band 10 premium is easiest to justify for its display and newer finish options.

Water-resistance and ownership cautions
5ATM means water resistance under specified test conditions, not universal waterproofing. Xiaomi excludes hot showers, saunas, diving and certain high-impact or fast-current activities. Resistance can decline with age, chemical exposure and physical damage. Rinse and dry the band after swimming, and follow Xiaomi’s care guidance.

- Choose Glimmer only if its jewelry-style strap and 135–180mm wrist range suit you.
- Choose an NFC model only after confirming local payment support, firmware and warranty.
