What stood out about each Kickstarter watch
Laventure Marine: Swiss-made claims and vintage-diver cues
Wong described the Marine as drawing on 1960s dive-watch designs, including the Patek Philippe Nautilus, and reported a 200m water-resistance rating and an ETA 2824-2 movement. The article said more than 90 percent of the watch was produced in Switzerland and noted blue, green and brown dial choices. Its listed campaign-era price was 1,670 CHF.
Moduco: an industrial look with two movement options
Presented as the first release from a Swiss-American team, Moduco paired an urban, industrial design with a sandwich-style dial. The campaign offered a choice between a Sellita SW200 automatic and a Ronda 513 quartz movement; the quartz pre-order price started at US$299 in the 2018 article. It did not report a water-resistance figure.

Peren Nera: a compact diver with a place-inspired dial
The Nera was described as having a 39mm case, a PVD-coated rotating bezel and 200m water resistance, with an ETA 2824-2 movement. Its deep green-blue dial took inspiration from Devil’s Lake in Transylvania’s Nera Gorges. Time+Tide listed the price as 590 CHF at publication.
ZRC Grand Fonds 300 North Adventure: a diver tied to an Arctic crossing
Wong described this 300m-rated re-creation as having a sapphire bezel and a built-in cleaning system. The Kickstarter campaign also supported Arctic explorer Alban Michon’s Northwest Passage crossing, which he undertook wearing the watch. The article listed a starting price of 1,390 CHF; it does not establish the campaign’s eventual outcome or present availability.

Undone’s second Kickstarter release was a meca-quartz chronograph with customization options for case color, hands, dial and strap, as well as the option to add initials or a logo. Ready-made versions were also available during the campaign; Wong’s personal pick was the Killy. The article listed prices from US$295.

The article captures five different approaches to sporty Kickstarter watches rather than establishing a winner.
