Both variants share an automatic AL-520 movement based on the Sellita SW200, a stated 38-hour power reserve and a published 30-metre water-resistance rating. The specifications and launch details below were reported by Time+Tide in August 2024; they do not establish current price, stock or production status.
What is the Alpina Heritage Automatic?
Alpina’s Heritage Automatic is a pair of modern watches drawing on design cues from the 1920s and 1940s, according to Zach Blass’s introduction for Time+Tide. The article does not identify a particular historic reference, so these are best understood as vintage-inspired designs rather than exact reissues of named models. It reports a polished stainless-steel case measuring 38mm across and 10.15mm thick.
Both versions have a solid caseback, sapphire crystal, PVD-blued hands and the same movement and other listed specifications. The choice between them is chiefly a dial-design decision.
How do the two dial variants differ?
| Variant | Dial appearance |
|---|---|
| Matte beige | Full matte beige dial with a black central medallion and vintage-style black numerals and indices. |
| Beige and silver | Beige central medallion, sunray silver outer ring and bronze-toned indications, with numerals at the cardinal points. |
Time+Tide describes both variants as having PVD-blued hands. The source does not provide exact reference numbers for the two versions.
