The Apiar Invenire v1.0 is a mechanical watch distinguished by its additively manufactured Grade 23 titanium case, whose visible lattice makes the manufacturing method part of the design. It pairs that case with a Swiss La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement. Apiar’s current product page marks the v1.0 sold out and says all orders were delivered in November 2024.
What is the Apiar Invenire?
The Invenire is a watch from British brand Apiar. The v1.0 is the first model in the line: a configurable automatic watch built around a titanium case made by additive manufacturing. Its design puts the case’s internal lattice and hollow construction on display rather than concealing them beneath a conventionally smooth exterior. DEVELOP3D’s 2024 interview quotes co-founder Matt Oosthuizen describing the approach as making the design functional first and aesthetically pleasing afterward.
In practical terms, additive manufacturing builds the case by melting metal powder into a shape. The exposed printed surface is a visual choice: it may appeal if you enjoy seeing engineering and construction, while those who prefer traditional smooth case finishing may find it less suited to their taste. That is a design distinction, not by itself a measure of the watch’s overall quality.

How the case is made—and where
Apiar says the titanium case is additively manufactured in Ebbw Vale, Wales, CNC-machined in Petersfield, England, and polished in London. The company lists the dial as made in Tenbury Wells, England, with the movement from Switzerland, crystals from Germany, hands from Switzerland and crowns from Italy. It describes its first watches as approximately 75% British-made; that is Apiar’s own figure, not an independently audited supply-chain assessment.
The manufacturing locations help explain the watch’s British engineering identity, but the Invenire is not made entirely in Britain. Its specified movement and several other components come from elsewhere.

Customization and editions
At launch, customers could configure details including case lattice, dial texture and color, numerals and strap, according to Time+Tide’s July 2024 review. Apiar’s product page likewise describes bespoke v1.0 orders made through its configurator. Those options formed part of the original offer; the sold-out v1.0 page does not establish that the configurator or the same choices are currently available.
Apiar also lists an Invenire ERB as a separate edition. Its specifications should not be assumed to match the v1.0: check the listing for the exact edition before comparing dimensions, movement or price.

Is the Apiar Invenire available, and what did it cost?
Apiar’s current v1.0 page marks the model sold out and says all v1.0 watches were delivered to customers in November 2024. It does not establish current availability through another seller. If you find a listing, confirm whether it is new or pre-owned, which Invenire edition it is, and what the seller’s delivery and return terms are.
Time+Tide recorded a starting price of £2,160 including VAT in its July 2024 review. That is historical launch-era coverage, not a current price or offer; the official sold-out page does not provide a current retail price.

- The see-through caseback is a window to the heartbeat of precision watchmaking: equipped with the Powermatic 80 featuring a Nivachron balance spring, the T-Race Automatic redefines what's possible on the road.
Warranty and checks for a prospective buyer
Apiar’s published guarantee covers defects in workmanship or materials for two years. The stated exclusions include natural aging of components such as leather straps, misuse, intentional damage and unauthorized modifications. Apiar says it will repair or replace a validated issue at no charge during the guarantee period and describes return-shipping arrangements after a claim is approved. The terms say British law governs the guarantee and that it does not affect statutory rights. Read the current wording and confirm how it applies to the specific watch and seller before purchase.
