Prices depend on the exact listing. A different case size, GPS versus cellular, finish, included band, seller, condition or timing can mean a different price. Match the configuration you want before comparing offers.
Which Apple Watch deal is the best fit?
Series 12: the mainstream choice
Macworld characterizes the Series 12 as the current mainstream model. The October reports show separate prices for 42mm and 46mm versions, with a small discrepancy between some roundups. If you want this model, compare the exact size and connectivity option rather than treating the lower figure as a price for every Series 12 listing.

SE 3: the lower-cost option
Macworld describes the SE 3 as a lower-cost choice with fewer health features than the higher-end models. The reported $199 and $229 deals apply specifically to 40mm and 44mm GPS configurations, respectively; they are not evidence of the same prices for cellular models or other finishes.
Ultra 4: check the listing, not just the headline
Macworld characterizes the Ultra 4 as the rugged and endurance-focused option. The October coverage does not agree on one price, even though two reports cite roughly $699 for particular natural-titanium configurations. Compare the band and finish shown in the product listing, and use the price displayed for that precise configuration rather than assuming $699 applies universally.

Should you consider an older Apple Watch?
Macworld’s October 6 coverage includes older Series 11 and Ultra 3 stock, but its figures are from U.K. listings: £259 for Series 11 and £569 or £549 for Ultra 3 in different roundup snapshots. The coverage also notes that some older U.S. listings were used, and that certain newer models were not discounted in the U.K. at its check. These are not like-for-like comparisons with a new U.S. watch.

- Check region and currency before treating two prices as comparable.
- Confirm whether a listing is new or used and review the precise model and included accessories.
- Compare the discount against the same model’s regular price and the price of the newer generation; an older watch is worthwhile only if its lower cost makes sense for the differences that matter to you.
How to check an Apple Watch deal before buying
- Open the product listing from the retailer and confirm the model generation and case size: 40mm, 42mm, 44mm or 46mm as applicable.
- Check whether the watch is GPS or cellular, and verify the finish and included band. Do not infer these details from a roundup headline or thumbnail.
- Confirm the seller, condition, current displayed price and availability. Deal articles are snapshots; the price can change during Amazon’s scheduled offer drops.
- Compare the exact configuration with another report only when both reports describe the same market and configuration. Treat the Ultra 4 reports as unresolved price differences rather than a single agreed deal.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
