Its current listing pairs that dial with a La-Joux Perret G101 movement, a 68-hour power reserve and 100 m water resistance, in a choice of 37 mm or 40.5 mm case sizes. The main decisions are whether the particular dial and configurable details appeal to you, which size suits your wrist, and whether the live price and delivery terms work for your destination.
What makes the ARC II Fordite distinctive?
The dial is the watch’s defining feature. Arcanaut describes Fordite as layers of automotive paint overspray that accumulated and cured, and says its Fordite is associated with Detroit’s automotive industry. The brand presents each hand-finished dial as one of a kind. That origin and scarcity account are Arcanaut’s description; the material history has not been independently established here. Because the dial pattern is individual, photographs of one example cannot guarantee the exact appearance of another. If a particular color balance or pattern matters to you, ask Arcanaut what dial is available for the configuration you intend to order.

Which case size is likely to fit?
The 37 mm option measures 45 mm lug-to-lug; the 40.5 mm option measures 49 mm. Those figures offer a more useful starting point than diameter alone when judging how much wrist space the case will occupy. Arcanaut cautions that the case shape affects the wearing experience and recommends consulting its size guide. If you are between sizes, compare the stated dimensions with a watch you already find comfortable and contact the maker about fit.
What can you configure?
Arcanaut lists choices for case size, strap color, handset and lume, as well as chapter-ring options. The handset choice is between Grand Paw and Spear. These options let buyers tune the watch’s appearance and legibility, but the available combinations and any effect on price should be checked on the live listing rather than assumed from another dial or configuration.

Price, availability and delivery
Arcanaut’s Fordite collection displayed models from €4,000, with at least one listing at €4,350 in the page snapshot used for this review. An individual Old Original page showed €4,000 and sold-out status. These are changeable listings, not a guarantee that a particular dial or price remains available. Check the Fordite collection and the selected product configuration for current availability and price.
Arcanaut describes its watches as bespoke and made to order. The Randy product listing gave a projected dispatch estimate of 6–8 weeks, but that estimate is specific to that listing and may change. Arcanaut’s ordering information also makes taxes, duties and tariffs destination-dependent. Before paying, confirm the current lead time and ask for the total delivered cost to your country. The Randy listing is an example of the brand’s order and delivery information.

Keep Fordite 2.0 separate from earlier versions
The current Fordite 2.0 listing specifies a La-Joux Perret G101. An older Fordite Futures page describes Soprod movements, while a review published by The 1916 Company on 8 September 2023 documents a historical configuration. Those sources should not be used to substitute older movement or dimension details for the current listing. The video’s description invited viewers to contact the retailer about pricing and availability at that time; it does not establish current stock.
