Which 38 mm perpetual calendar models did AP release?
The September 2025 launch covered three executions across two references. Launch coverage reported that each has an automatic movement with an approximately 55-hour power reserve; consult Audemars Piguet for current specifications and availability.

How do the Royal Oak and Code 11.59 calendars differ?
Royal Oak 26684: a simpler calendar display
Calibre 7136 powers the Royal Oak and omits the week-of-year indication found on the 41 mm generation. The smaller display therefore trades that calendar reading for a less information-dense dial. The steel and pink-gold versions share the reference family and movement, with their case, dial and bracelet materials distinguishing them.

Code 11.59 26441: week indication retained
The pink-gold Code 11.59 uses Calibre 7138 and retains the week-of-year display. Launch reports put it at approximately 10 mm thick and 30 m water resistance, compared with the Royal Oak’s reported 9.4 mm and 50 m. Both movements were reported with an approximately 55-hour power reserve.
What does “first 38 mm perpetual calendar” mean?
The launch is a first at the 38 mm size, not Audemars Piguet’s first perpetual calendar or the Royal Oak’s first perpetual calendar. AP’s own AP Chronicles archive says the brand presented its first Royal Oak perpetual calendar, Model 5554—soon renamed 25554—on April 5, 1984. The archive gives the original case diameter as 39 mm.

What were the reported launch prices?
Fratello reported a launch price of US$110,900 for the steel Royal Oak. The pink-gold Royal Oak was listed at price on request, as was the Royal Oak in the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry’s 2025 new-model listing. These are publication-reported launch figures, not verified current quotes or evidence of inventory; contact Audemars Piguet or an authorized retailer to check current pricing and availability.
