For an inexpensive everyday digital watch, the Casio F-91W-1 is the most clearly documented option here. The Armitron Reaction offers more sport functions and a larger case, while the Timex Digital TW5M61900 is worth considering only if it comes back in stock. Prices and availability change, so confirm the exact model, shipping cost and total before buying.

Casio F-91W-1: a lightweight everyday digital watch
The F-91W-1 is a straightforward choice if you want a small, light digital watch with basic timing and alarm functions. Casio lists dimensions of 38.2 × 35.2 × 8.5 mm and a weight of 21 g, with a resin case and band. The manufacturer estimates approximately seven years of battery life from a CR2016 battery and lists accuracy of ±30 seconds per month.

That water-resistance wording does not establish a swimming or diving rating. Casio’s U.S. page does not give a price, so confirm a current listing fits your budget. Casio says the F-91W design has remained unchanged since its 1989 launch; that is the manufacturer’s characterization, not an independent popularity measure.

Armitron’s men’s sports collection listed a Reaction example for $30. Its feature description includes time, seconds, day and date, a chronograph with lap time, an alarm, dual time, 12/24-hour time and a backlight. The example has a 52.5 mm resin case and resin strap, making it a comparatively large watch to consider carefully if you have a smaller wrist.
The specific Reaction description also says water resistant to 330 feet. Treat that as the manufacturer’s wording for this example only; it is not independent validation and should not be applied to other Reaction variants. Check the precise model, color, orderability and delivered total: Armitron’s collection page reported inventory relocation and shipment delays.

Timex Digital TW5M61900: an out-of-stock comparison
Timex’s U.S. product page showed the TW5M61900 at $27, reduced from a $36 reference price, while labeling it out of stock. The page describes a quartz digital movement, resin strap and INDIGLO light-up dial. Consider it only if the exact model becomes available and the current price remains within your budget; the displayed offer is not a dependable current buying option.

A feature list alone does not tell you whether a watch will suit your routine. Compare the display type, case dimensions, low-light readability, timing and alarm functions, and the manufacturer’s exact water-resistance wording. For the Casio, the listed 21 g weight and compact dimensions offer a clear fit reference; for the Armitron example, the 52.5 mm case is a notable sizing consideration.

Battery expectations and warranty terms can also matter. Casio provides an approximate seven-year battery estimate for the F-91W-1. Timex describes a one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty for defects in materials and workmanship. Armitron’s FAQ describes a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship; read its terms for exclusions and model eligibility rather than assuming every watch is covered identically.

- Choose the exact model and variant. Confirm the case, strap, color and functions match the listing you intend to buy.
- Check live stock and price. An advertised price may not mean the watch can be ordered; the Timex listing, for example, was marked out of stock.
- Calculate the delivered total. Include shipping and any other charges before deciding whether the watch meets your budget.
- Read the model-specific water-resistance and warranty terms. Do not transfer claims from one watch or variant to another.
