The Bovet Pininfarina OttantaSei Platinum is the 44 mm, hand-wound tourbillon watch identified by reference TPINS026. Its caliber 17BM03 provides a 240-hour (10-day) power reserve. Monochrome reported a limited run of 10 platinum watches at launch in 2018; a current price or availability is not established by the sources cited here.
Which OttantaSei is the platinum model?
For the platinum version, the reference to look for is TPINS026. That distinction matters: the GPHG’s 2016 record covers a titanium Ottantasei, reference TPINS001, not the platinum watch. Although the two records share headline measurements and movement figures, material, reference, edition and price details should not be transferred from one to the other.
The platinum TPINS026 listing describes a Pt950 case weighing 59 g. The product specifications below are from the INDP Watches platinum listing, while the GPHG model record is specifically for the titanium model.

The 12 mm figure includes the crystals; the listing also gives 8.85 mm without them. Stating the measurement convention avoids making the case sound thinner by omitting the crystal measurement.

What the 10-day reserve means
The caliber 17BM03 is manually wound, and the platinum listing specifies a 240-hour reserve. In practical terms, that is 10 days of running time when fully wound, not a claim about accuracy or a guarantee that every watch will run exactly that long under every condition. The listing gives a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and identifies the tourbillon as a one-minute flying tourbillon.
The GPHG record for the titanium TPINS001 also lists a 240-hour reserve and 18,000 vph. Those shared figures do not make its other model-specific facts—such as case material, edition size or price—platinum specifications.

There is also a configuration difference in launch coverage: Monochrome described the platinum watch with a black rubber strap and titanium folding clasp, while the INDP listing specifies a rubber strap and white-gold pin buckle. Treat these as source-specific configurations rather than assuming either description applies to every example.

A current retail price, quote or availability for TPINS026 is not established by the cited sources. Monochrome’s 2018 launch article said the platinum watch was price on request and expected it to be just above EUR 200,000. That is historical launch context, not a current asking price or valuation.

The CHF 165,000 figure in the GPHG record belongs to titanium reference TPINS001 and is stated excluding VAT; it is not a platinum price. Likewise, Phillips recorded a titanium Ottanta Sei, reference TPINS001-01, sold for HK$500,000 in 2018. That older auction result is not a comparable for the platinum TPINS026 and should not be read as its present market value.
