A 2024 review listing covers reference 5517TI/G2/5ZU, the grey-dial version on black rubber, rather than the blue-dial Y1 reference. It reports 40 mm diameter, 11.7 mm thickness and 47.3 mm lug-to-lug for that reviewed variant; those dimensions should not be transferred to 5517TI/Y1/5ZU. The 1916 Company’s review is useful only as related-variant coverage.
How to interpret the design and movement details
The display is a conventional three-hand layout with a date aperture at 3 o’clock. Breguet also points to a maritime signal flag and the Breguet initial on the seconds-hand counterweight as Marine-themed details. These are manufacturer descriptions; they do not establish how easy the date is to read or how the finishing looks in person.
