Its standout feature is a two-level dial inspired by NASA’s “Black Marble,” paired with the automatic calibre 77F1, which stores two time-zone settings and switches between them on demand. Breguet does not publish a current retail price on its product page; Fratello reported CHF 88,000 including taxes in 2025.
What makes the Marine Hora Mundi 5555 distinctive?
Introduced as the fifth chapter in Breguet’s 250th-anniversary celebrations, the 5555 combines a miniature, layered world-map dial with a mechanical dual-time system. Breguet limited the watch to 50 pieces and says collectors can personalize the cities assigned to its 24 time zones. The personalization statement is Breguet’s; it does not mean the watch displays 24 independent times at once.
The brand’s launch announcement dated September 9, 2025, says: “Each of the 50 collectors will be able to personalise the cities assigned to the 24 time zones.”
How is the two-level dial made?
The dial’s depth comes from a hand-guilloché gold base beneath a translucent sapphire layer. Breguet describes the base as blue-gradient, with meridians and parallels worked into its surface. On the sapphire, hand-painted enamel forms the continents and clouds, while miniature phosphorescent enamel depicts city lights.

Breguet says the cloud work varies by artisan, making each dial distinct in that respect. The brand also describes the enamel as subject to a patent application; that wording does not establish that a patent has been granted.
How does the calibre 77F1 dual-time mechanism work?
The 77F1 is an automatic movement with a mechanical memory for two selected city/time-zone settings. The wearer can switch between the two preset zones on demand. The date follows the selected zone, and an indicator shows whether it is day or night there. According to Breguet’s launch article, the second city is set using the pusher crown at 8 o’clock, and changing zones does not interrupt the watch’s running.

This arrangement is designed for moving between two chosen zones rather than reading every time zone simultaneously. Breguet’s release explains the switching function but does not provide a separate accuracy claim for it.

Breguet’s current product page asks prospective buyers to contact a point of sale for the recommended retail price rather than showing a price. Fratello Watches reported CHF 88,000 including taxes in a 2025 article. That is a dated third-party report, not a current official quote or a universal price: the current regional retail price, remaining availability and transaction price are not established.
