- Exact Daytona reference: Identify the reference engraved on the watch; do not assume 116-series reports apply to a 126500.
- End links: Confirm they match the case geometry and sit properly, without an unsuitable gap or interference.
- Spring bars: Have the diameter and seating checked for the specific case and end links.
